Rihanna's POV
I got into Andy's passenger seat, looking over to see his stupidly excited expression as he waits for me to tell him all about what happened with Marshall. His shaggy hair was beginning to cover most of his forehead and I know I'm the one who's going to have to convince him to go get it cut soon. He smelled stale compared to Marshall's musky scent and already I found myself wishing I could burry my face back into his pillow. Don't compare Andy to Marshall that's not fair. I want to forget Marshall because I know he's not good for me and the chances of seeing him again is slim, but I just can't after what he did for me last night..
"Sooooo?" Andy asks raising his eyebrows in anticipation.
"Just drive I'll tell you on the way." I respond putting my feet up on the dashboard. I wish I could go home and change but then I'd have to interact with my mom and I'm just not in the mood for it. So hopefully what I'm wearing isn't too informal for an interview.
Andy pulls out of the parking lot of Marshall's apartment complex and turns on to the road toward the mall. I swallow to clear my throat knowing I'll be doing a lot of the talking on the way there.
"So basically after you drove away from dropping me off I found out my mom locked me out." I begin the story making Andy look at me a few times but keeping his main focus on the road.
"She locked you out? Why? Where you guys fighting?"
"No. I think she got drunk and confused and just locked the doors because it was nighttime, she probably forgot I was even out."
"Sorry I left you.. Why didn't you call me?"
"You never gave me your number you prick."
I joke, hitting his arm lightly to let him know he fucked up."Oh yeah I must of forgot because I got a new phone." He defends himself, scratching the back of his head. "But go on.."
"So the only other persons number I have is Marshall's so I had no choice but to call, and he agreed to come get me.. The original plan was to stay at a motel but the price was fucking outrageous." I continue getting angry remembering the dick of a service guy that wouldn't let me stay at the motel. "Marshall ended up letting me stay at his place over night which was cool I guess."
"That's it? Nothing juicy happened?" Andy persists as we approached the mall building.
"I slept in his bed." I say not wanting to discuss the weird neck kissing thing. Andy's got a big mouth so I know if I tell him it will likely be spread across town like wild fire.
"With him?" Andy parked in one of the few available spaces left and we got out of his ragged old car.
"No Andy not with him." I answer not wanting to think about sleeping with Marshall again. I can't get all flustered and nervous before my interview, I actually want this job.
"Bitch you are boring as fuck." Andy laughs and I punch him in the arm again, laughing too.
The mall was overly crowded as Andy and I tried not to get separated amongst the crowd. I followed behind him as he lead me to one of the hundreds of clothing stores inside the two story building. The above head sign read 'Graphics' in bold illuminating white lettering and after one glance inside I could see why. The store only sold graphic tees which seemed to make my potential job somewhat easier. How hard can it be to sell tshirts all day?
"MARIE!" Andy calls through the whole store not really caring if he was bothering costumers. Soon an averaged height red head comes out from the back office holding a clip board and highlighter. "Hey boss my friend here wants to see if she could take an interview." Andy motions back towards me and the women looks me up and down once then back at Andy.
