Erin's POV
I woke up with a throbbing head and a heavy body. Realized I obviously was not in my own room, I got up.
That was the first of the many mistakes I made in university, but we'll get to that later.
My hands automatically went to my forehead, it was like a blood rush or whatever those things are called. It was weird.
I stepped out of the room and into the hall where there were people laying along the walls and in the middle of halls. A flash back of last night played in my mind.
I walked down the stairs and found my way to the kitchen. Of course, it took at least 10 minutes for me to find. I mean, this place is huge! Harry must be stacked.
"Goooood morning lil one." Sophie smiles at me.
I manage a small smile but I flinch slightly. It made my head ache tremendously more when I moved any part of my face."Good morning, Soph." I said, but it came out sounding more like a groan.
Harry, the boy coiled around her, let out a gentle laugh. "Not a partyer?"
I began shaking my head but then realized mid shake how bad of an idea that was. "No, not really. Is it that obvious?"
"Oh no not at all." He laughed again.
"Do you have class today?" Sophie asked me before taking a bite out of the toast she made her self.
"Oh shoot, yeah, I do."
"Are you gonna go?"
I let out a light laugh, trying not to worsen this satanic, firey, pounding head ache."Sophie, do I look like I am in any way shape or form able to go to class right now?"
"You're right." Her and Harry laughed. "Well, I'm gonna go shower. Babe, keep her company." She said after giving Harry a light peck."Will do." He replied.
Sophie disappeared in a moment, leaving Harry and I alone.
I wasn't sure what to talk to him about so I just asked, "Can I make something to eat?"
"Yeah, sure, what do you want?"
"Just eggs or like pancakes is good." I said. He nodded and began working on some pancakes.
"I'm feeling like pancakes too." He said.
I watched as he retrieved ingredients from cupboards and drawers and placing them into bowls.
He then began to talk. "So what are you here for?"
I fumbled with my fingers for a second before responding. "Business, what are you here for?"
I was thinking about lying for a moment. Girls don't usually go into business, what if he thinks that's weird? That I'm wasting money on something useless for me?
"Really? Me too. I don't know very many girls that are going to university for business."
Dang, that was actually a nice reply to that."Yeah, it's not really something girls usually do I guess. I don't know though, after I get my bachelors degree I think I might apply to law school."
He seemed genuinely interested in what I was saying, which was obvious by the way he stopped making the pancakes and propped him self up on the counter to listen to me.
"So you don't like business then?"
"It's not that I don't like it, it's just not really a woman type of job. It's more of a guy dominated profession, you know?" I sighed.
It was true though, the only jobs women really have is, like, teaching.
He shook his head at me. "I disagree. I think that you could be a business woman if you want to be. You just have to have that mind set. It's not that women don't get business degrees and jobs, and it's not that it's a male dominated job, it's just that they aren't as interested in it anymore."
