"Hurry up and open the door. I'm fucking freezing." Jonathan was grabbing the pizzas from Evan so he can get his keys from his pocket.
"Hold on. Don't get your panties in a twist, Delirious." Evan laughed and opened the door. "Well welcome to my crib." He walked in and motioned for Jonathan to enter. "Make your self at home, man."
Delirious looked around. Evan's house was awesome. There was action figures on every shelf and he had almost every game system known to man neatly hooked up to his television. There was posters on the wall of his favorite movies and characters. When Jonathan's eyes met Evan's shelf with all his video games he felt like he was a kid in a candy store. The whole wall was practically filled with games from almost every system. "Dude, you have so many games. It's fucking awesome. I haven't seen most of these since I was a kid!"
Evan laughed shyly. "Thanks. I collect them. Most of those were gifts from family and friends. Then some of those were sent to me by sponsors who want me to play their games. They let me keep most of them. Plus I collected a few of them myself."
"I'm in heaven. Can we play some of them PRETTY PLEASE?" Jonathan looked at Evan, pretending to be a kid asking his mom for something, making his eyes big and batting his eyelashes at him the cutest a sad face.
Evan laughed. Jonathan looked kind of cute begging him like that. "Only if you don't mind me whopping your ass at most of these games."
"Bring it, bitch. But first, food." Jonathan opened up a box of pizza and immediately took a bite out of one. "This pizza is too damn good! Oh my god! So far, I like it here. Besides being colder than Santa Clause's nut sack, Canada is pretty freaking great."
Evan sat at the table and took a bite out of his own pizza. "You're a fucking idiot but that might just be most factual thing you've ever said. And F.Y.I. I don't think Santa's nuts aren't freezing. He has his red fur pants to keep them warm."
Jonathan almost choked on his pizza from laughing too hard. "Whatever, man. You know the point I was trying to make. Leave me alone, jerk." Evan just raised his hands in the air as if he was surrendering and then he continued to eat his pizza.
About two boxes of pizza and several bad jokes later, Jonathan and Evan were playing video games. First they played Mario Kart on the Nintendo64, until Jonathan rage quit. "You bitch! You're fucking cheating! How do you win all the damn time?!"
"I guess I'm just too MLG for you. You almost beat me that last round though."
"Fuck you, bitch. Why don't we play another game that you can't cheat at."
"Ok then. Pick whatever game you want to play, Jonathan."
Jonathan walked over to the wall and picked out a few games he wanted to play. For the rest of the night they played Call of Duty, Gears Of War, and lots of other games. Every now and then, Jonathan would turn to Evan and stare at him, letting his eyes get lost on his body. He was trying so hard not to confess his feelings to Evan. He couldn't take it. He has the chance to tell him in person but he's to afraid. He's afraid that Evan doesn't feel the same. There was always a special connection between them, but now that he was there in person with Evan, he could feel it even more. It's like they were getting pulled together by some mystical force. Jonathan loved the way Evan made him feel, but does he feel the same about him? Does Evan feel what I feel?
Jonathan has had many conversations with Evan. They told each other everything, so Jonathan knew that Evan has been in a lot of relationships before. He never really liked to talk about them, but when he did you can hear the hurt in his voice. All of those relationships ended badly. Whether he was getting physically and emotionally abused or they would just abandon him, all of it payed an emotional toll on him. All his life, people had made him feel worthless. People have always brought him down and left, so he was used to it. He was used to being hurt. That was normal for him, which led to him developing anxiety and depression, but no one would ever know because of how good he hides his emotions. He hides them because he's scared, so Jonathan doesn't want to push him. He doesn't want to force him to be in a relationship, of he's not ready. If he even was attracted to him. If he was even attracted to men. But little did Jonathan know, Evan was attracted to him. He was just scared that he will lose even more people. He's scared that he would lose Jonathan, and that's the last thing he wanted. So he tried everything in his power to convince himself that he is fine with what they have now, just being friends.
Jonathan was snapped out of his thoughts when Evan jumped up screaming doing a victory dance, after killing him in search and destroy. Jonathan thought that it was the cutest thing. He hadn't seen Evan get this happy and excited for anything in a long time. He didn't like losing, but if it meant that he can see Evan happy like this, he wouldn't ever mind losing to him again.
