Chapter 2: Steve

"What's the status on our Project Sapphire?" Steve Rogers walked in on Nick Fury's office.

Fury turned away from his position on his office window and looked at the Captain.
"No news yet. But Barton will be coming in from Germany with some intel on the matter. This is either a threat or just a useless piece of shit made by Hydra to deflect the attention from us hunting every one of them bastards down."

Steve nodded, "So you're saying we stay down while we figure out this message?"

Nick nodded, "Best option. You have time to relax now Cap. After Ultron don't we all need some R and R?"

"I agree. More time to prepare the team." Steve turned his back, intending to leave.

"Or get that date Natasha have been bugging you about." Nick called after Steve's retreating back.

Steve shook his head. He's not desperate. Does he look desperate? Needy perhaps?

He pushed the thought away as he went to the S.T.A.T.I.O.N (Scientific Training and Tactical Intelligence Operative Network) to look at the files of possible new candidates for S.H.E.I.L.D's training program.
