'Oh thank God I'm finally getting new glasses,' you said happily, walking into the near-empty opticians.
You had lost both pairs of your glasses and hadn't had time up until today to get a new pair.
You slowly looked around the racks of different glasses and casually put them on your face, looking down and slightly shaking your head (your old glasses used to constantly fall off your face, so just to make sure these were okay).
'Would you like some help?' Someone said from beside you, causing you to jump and drop the pair in your hands.
Reaching down to pick them up, you tried your hardest not to look weirder than you probably already did, as it probably looked like you were head banging to non-existent music.
'I'm... fine,' you said awkwardly, putting the glasses back on the rack before you damaged them. Only then did you look at the man talking to you and realised you probably no longer needed glasses, as your eyes almost fell out of your head he was so good-looking.
His blond hair was slightly quiffed and he had a little bit of stubble on his chin, and on top of all of that he had a lip ring.
Trying hard to not hyperventilate in front of this amazingly attractive human being, you stuttered out a, 'I- Hello, sorry- I...'
He gave you a small smile then walked away, probably relieved to get away from a weirdo like you, whose mouth was opening and closing like a goldfish.
To take your mind away from the worker, you began to examine the other glasses on display, deciding against shaking your head around like a wet dog would do to dry off.
You finally settled on a black and blue pair with thick frames and the right lenses which you seemed pretty happy with, so you decided that you'd been here for long enough and went to the cashier, who of course was the same man from earlier.
'Is that all?' He asked politely, after getting the glasses in their box for you. You nodded and handed him the right amount of money, trying hard not to blush because he was so damn good looking.
He gave you the bag with the box in and smiled warmly, 'you have two weeks to return them if you're not happy with them.'
'Thank you,' you said nervously then turned around to leave.
Just as you reached the door you heard him say, 'by the way, if you're returning them, I'm here every Monday to Thursday.'
You turned around and he gave you a wink, then returned to sorting out the racks.
Well, you were definitely returning these next week then, without a doubt.
