Dippers POV
"Hey there, Pinetree."
Wait! Before you go wondering why I'm back in Gravity Falls, let me be kind and tell you. It had been a while since I'd been to Gravity Falls, not much has happened since then. After five years, I decided to visit again. I was in need of more mysteries, and I knew one place that was FILLED with unsolved mysteries: Gravity Falls. Mabel also wanted to return. So she came with me. We eventually arrived at Grunkle Stan's mystery Shack. We were welcomed with open arms, literally. Grunkle Stan had opened the door and he pulled me and Mabel into a hug. Me and Mabel went to unpack upstairs. So after the very tedious job of unpacking, I went out adventuring. I got lost, mock me all you want, but I found a smallish spot where there wasn't much trees. But, there was a blonde boy sitting, back turned to me, in the middle of the circle I'll call it. I decided to go talk to him. BIG mistake.
"H-hi, I'm --"
"Hey there, Pinetree."
Pinetree, I think, where have I heard that before?
"You don't remember me?" He suddenly looks hurt and proceeds to say,"Well I remembered you."
Bill! I remember.
"So you remember me now, Pinetree." A demonic smile spreads across his face as he says that.
"Bill! How did you--"
"I'm a demon, remember?" He interrupts me once again.
"Can you please stop--"
"Nope!" He interrupts once again. He's starting to annoy me. "Pinetree, look, I just wanna be friends, okay?"
"No! Not okay!" I yell at him.
"We will be friends." Bill's getting really annoyed right now.
"But I--"
"You don't have a choice, Pinetree." Bill interrupts, he's the king of interrupting.
I stand there, remembering what he's capable of. "Hmm..." If I don't, he could rip me apart, or make me blind. "Okay." I say doubtfully. The demons eyes light up, he's clearly happy. Damn demon.
"Okay friend, let's go exploring!" Bill says cheerfully. He's enjoying this way too much.
I sigh, making it clear to him I don't want to. Well, not with him anyways. Bill grabs me by the wrist and starts dragging me effortlessly to places he wanted to see. I was at least glad I didn't have to walk.
The sun's starting to set at this point.
"Bill, I need to go now."
Bill stops dead in his tracks. Not letting go or anything useful like that. Instead, his grip gets tighter. Still not saying anything.
"Uh, Bill, I need to--"
"I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME!" Bill's grip grows increasingly tighter.
"Ow! Bill let go!" I am clawing at his hand. Finally he gives in and lets go. He runs off into the woods. I look to my right and I can just see the mystery shack. Well that's useful of Bill. I take a few steps. Great, now I feel guilty. I keep walking. Guilt is a terrible thing.
***time skip***
After dinner, I'm laying in bed thinking about what happened in the woods.
"Goodnight, Dipper."
"Goodnight, Mabel."
Mabel turns off the light and rolls over. I lay on my back, still feeling guilty. I pass out.

Bills POV

How could Pinetree do that?! What did I do wrong? I yawn. "What was that?" My eyes feel heavy I can barely keep them open. I pass out.
***time skip***
"Bill? Bill where are you? I know you're here Bill!"
What...? It's Pinetree. What does he want? Stupid meatsack!
"Bill! Come out! I want to talk to you!"
I walk out from behind a tree. "What do you, kid?!" I kinda yelled.
Pinetree turned around so he was facing me. "I just wanted to say sorry about yesterday. I do want to be your friend."
What?! "What made you change your mind, Pinetree?"
Oh no, how do I say this to him? Pinetree's thought flooded my mind.
"Say what?"
Crap! Pinetree's thought again.
Pinetree stop thinking!
"Uh, well..."
"You sound like you're tryina confess you love me or somethin'. Spit it out, kid!"
"Well, I kinda felt guilty last night so, uh, that's uh... Why."
What excuse is that? I've never heard a worse excuse in my life! I walk closer to Pinetree and stop when I'm inches away. "Tell me the real excuse."
Pinetree is a bit pink. "Uh, that is the real excuse."
He's too close. Why's he so close? What am I feeling right now? Pinetree's thought.
"Am I making you uncomfortable, Pinetree?" I question.
"Uh n-no" Pinetree's lying. He steps back a little but I follow him keeping the same distance, if not closer.
"Don't lie to me, kid."
"Uh, wha-what lie? I'm not lying." Good going, Dipper. Now he knows you're lying.
"I knew from the start kid." I say. "Don't forget I can read minds" I move a bit closer. The kid is practically cowering. I step as close as I can without stepping on the kids feet and he falls flat on his butt.
"Ow..." He whispered.
I step back and extend my arm to help him up. He slowly reaches for my hand.
What's going on?!?! What's making me act so different?! Why do I feel like this?!
"Pinetree, you need to stop thinking." He grabs my hand and I pull him up.
"Uh... Thank you Bill..." I wanna run and hide.
The kid was extremely uncomfortable. "Tell you what Pinetree, I'll go and meet you later okay?"
"O-okay." I'm such an idiot!
"Cya later, Pinetree!" I run off into the woods.
