As soon as the bell rings I scurry off to art. I think of Matt and how he told me this is the time that freshman go to lunch. And of course being freshman, they think that they have to get there as fast as they can. So pretty much they come as a blob of people pushing and shoving their way into the cafeteria
When I reach the art room I search around for Matt, but there is no sign of him. I sit down in an empty seat in the corner. Soon I hear someone sit next to me. I turn to look at her and she is staring at me with wide eyes.
"Can I help you?" I ask.
"Yeah, your in my seat."
"Oh I'm sorry." I get up and walk to the opposite end of the room.
Wow that was rude, I wonder how many friends she has.
Just then a huge mass of people barge into the room, having what seems to be one hundred different conversations.
"MARLEY!" they all shout
Just then the girl who told me to move looks up at the group.
"GUYS!" she shouts, she runs over and gives them a huge hug, then heads back to her seat.
I look for Matt in the big group, but still no sign of him. Then the bell rings and I sigh in disappointment.
"Sorry I'm late i was caught in the freshman rush."
"It's ok, i understand."
"Thank you.
"Have a seat next to Savannah... Matt."
