You know what Romance stories make you feel. They give you a heartwarming, happy and pleasurable experience and with this story, I hope that you really connect with the characters and the plot.
The Navy Boy is a YA Romance inspired by true events that I personally have been through in the past between myself and another guy, my best friend. Telling him that I loved him proved to be difficult, the aftermath was a confusing and painful time for both of us and although he has forgiven me for what I did, I feel that since then, our friendship has fallen a little bit since it all came out so quickly. I do still have feelings for him but you never know what the future may hold. He might change his mind, we will never know.
Alexander is the Navy Boy, he has an obsession for all things water so the sea, boats, swimming. That truthfully is my best friend written all over. While on the other hand Elizabeth is a quiet but passionate girl. That's yours truly.
A lot of things do happen in the story, a lot of things will happen. It will stretch your emotions to possible breaking point but I don't want to offend or upset anybody.
I started writing this story in May last year and after numerous delays, I'm proud to say that I am back to working on the story and updates for this will be regular. I would like to complete this before Christmas this year if possible.
If you loved You and Me's emotional romance scenes then this story could possibly raise the bar from that. But that's just my opinion, you as the readers have a say.
So, enjoy reading and brace yourselves for a wild ride!
