I was headed to the grass where we all meet. It was September. The leaves were brown and red. Crumbling, deteriorating to the ground. I loved it. I head over to my friend, Amber. We met in math class last year. She's coolio.
I ran over to Julia and Charlie.
"I can't believe you're both back" I said
"It wasn't easy convincing my parents to let me live with Rose" Julia sighed "especially since Charlie would be staying with us"
"My dad was easy... I just ran away" chuckled Charlie
Amber looked horrified
"Just kidding" he said

Soon everyone arrived.
Kiera lifted her water bottle "cheers for the weird loners united at last!"
We all held our water bottles.
