My arms circle around Ares' shoulders, my legs wrapped around his middle. He sways us back and forth in the tub, slowly and soothingly.

My mind was still reeling over their scheme.

To The Society, I was to be the Blackwood packs prized Omega, kept safely at home since I had yet to be marked. My acrobat skill was plants, much to Jagger's amusement and sated satisfaction, and with my nifty healing power I could make a show and convince anyone who didn't ask for more.

And to get a head of any whispers or rumors, they were going to announce they found their mate in the center of all gossip.

They were going to get ahead of any and all information and implant a story into any messengers head.

The only thing we had left to do is play the part.

Four ruthless Alphas? Check.

A well mannered classy Omega?

How was I supposed to pull this off?

"What if you stay linked with one of us the whole time?" Ares suggests. His voice is quiet as we soak in the peace.

"I don't know." I say.

"You're most comfortable when you're linked."

"I am?"

A smile and a nod. "You should practice linking with two of us at the same time. Ryker has the best control, you'll work with him and Finn on getting more familiar with linking. I think his idea with the seeds is a brilliant plan. Jagger and I will help you get more comfortable with your powers."

I rest my head in the crook of his neck. Ryker had suggested I use his flower seeds as part of our scheme. If it looked like I could conjure plants out of thin air like Jagger as well as encourage existing plants to grow, our ploy will only be that more convincing.

We had one chance to sell this perfectly.

I had to train my mind and my powers. And I had to do it before I healed. We had until the end of the week before the lead packs absence would draw too much attention.

"You said that I don't need to control my power. That I was my power." I say.

Ares kisses my forehead as he continues to sway us. "That's right baby girl. You don't need to be scared of your powers. You just need someone to teach you how to use them."

I bite my bottom lip. "What about my siren song?"

His hand rubs up and down my back leisurely. "What about it?"

"Aren't you scared of me?" I ask, confident in his company.

Ares pauses, taken aback. "My gypsy, if you aren't scared of me, how do you expect me to be scared of you?"

My heart warms, but that damned fear has crept back into my voice. "The song of the siren is what The Society wants extinct. They are scared of it."

"It's easy to be scared of the unknown." Ares muses. "Will you teach me more about gypsy powers?" He asks.

I pick my head up and lean back to meet his eyes. His pale blue orbs glow in the low lighting. I feel nothing but genuine curiosity from our bond. I tilt my head slightly. "You... want to learn about gypsy powers?" I say slowly.

Ares gives me a quick peck on the lips. "More than anything." He moves us to the edge of the tub, and gently lifts me out, setting me on the ledge. I keep my legs wrapped around him, pulling him close. Ares smiles as he meets his mouth to mine again, and we savor our slow but heated kisses. "Will you show me?"
