Can Hate Turn Into Love?

Chapter 8

(Dragoon here! I've done my research for the next chapter! This one takes place right before the encounter between Tony and Skye then continues! Skye is my little baby! I swear! He is so adorable! Ok Enjoy!)

Mark's POV

I had decided to humour both Jack and me by seeing if I can talk to him. After finding out I could, we actually had a conversation. He really needs to talk to Manic about that wet fur smell. Have you smelt a wet dog before? It's gross. I had finished getting ready after the talk I had with him and my siblings were begging me to take them with me. I had given in to Grace's whining.

I got to where Cory told me to and everyone was there before me. They all gave me a questioning look before shrugging. They all have met my siblings but X. Tony just glared at everyone and my sisters just looked timid. They hid behind me but Tony was in front, glaring at them.... Mainly at Jim and Manic because they were acting lovey-Dovey with each other.

Manic... My brother is a homophobe which I really don't get because both our parents are guys and always have been. I told Manic in his head. He pulled away from Jim and saw the death glare he was getting from my brother. He gulped and nudged Jim, he looked and shot a glare himself at my brother.  Tony only backed up a step and Cory was giggling. 

Jack sent a message to my head about a kid and I panicked.  I took off running and the rest just swooped in and carried my siblings to Jack's house.  I was at the door in a matter of minutes.  I saw Jay with the most cutest kid alive in his arms.  Those doe eyes could make anybody love him.  I hope he keeps them through his life!  Unluckily for me though, Tony recognized him and started to bad mouth him.  I wanted to throttle the kid.  The kid he dissed was absolutely adorable! 

I asked him if he thought of our parents that way and it broke my heart that he did think that our parents were worthless trash bags on the earth.  I broke down and cried.  Really cried. Everyone wanted to hurt him but I told them no.  It hurt but I was gonna protect my brother.

The kid, Skye, asked if Jay could put him down and he let out a wail.  He sounded so in pain as his wings appeared.  More like morphed out of black shadows.  His hair changed colour and where the white was, were two horns that were white.  He had tribal markings all over him.  I didn't notice at first but he had a lot of piercings and with a flash of white, they were spikes.  His eyes had changed Color to red but he managed to keep those doe eyes.  He looked a little scary but still adorable.  He still stayed an adorable kid.  He was really nervous by the way he watched us though.  It was so cute though! Is ears even morphed into long points. 

Tony started to diss him and he started to cry.  I really wanted to kill my brother for making him cry.  Jack came in and swooped up the kid and it looked as if he was soothing the kid.  He stared up at Jack before crying into his shoulder.

Jack told me to at least scold Tony and do I ever plan on scolding him.  I told him he sounded like a dad.  He kept the hold he had on Skye and he looked really hot!  I completely agree with him when he says that Skye is adorable even in the form he is in. 

Skye calmed down and told us that he was half demon as well as half dragon.  He started to cry into Jack's neck by the way his shoulders shook as a little whimper escaped him.  Jack reached up and started to stroke his hair, trying to calm him down.  He had natural father instincts!  We all decided to ditch school today as I took my brother home.  Skye didn't need to be around the idiot I call my brother at all!

"Dad? Daddy?  Come here, I need to talk to you!" I called into the kitchen where I knew they were in.  Tony had already left to his room when we got inside.  Good!  I don't need him around right now.  I might beat him up myself for what he did today. 

"Yeah. Marky?  What is up bud?  You look like you've seen a ghost!" Daddy said after looking at me. 

"Well after their school blew up,  they went with me to where everyone meets up.  That's Cory, Jim, Manic and X, Manic's little brother.  Jack told me to help him because there was a kid at his house.  That kid was the most adorable kid I've ever met.  Tony knew the kid, Skye and called him a fag.  I only found out that Tony was a homophobe yesterday.  He told the kid to die daddy.  I asked if that was how he felt about you guys and he nodded with out hesitating!  Skye changed.  I mean changed.  His wings, horns, and tail had tribal markings on them, his eyes changed from electric blue to blood red, his nails were longer and sharper than ours and his ears shifted into long elf ears. He also had a bunch of piercings that changed to spikes when he changed.  Tony told his to die again and that no one wants him.  He also said because no one wanted him, that his parents died.  Jack swooped in and soothed him enough so he could get stuff off his chest.  He told us that he is half demon as well as half dragon.  His parents died because of a demon that killed them.  And aperently, there is a handful of halflings like him." I said quickly.  Both of them looked like they were hit by a truck by the end of what I said.  To prove it, I held my hand out as they took it.  They looked so angry after they let go.

"ANTHONY BENJIMIN STILL GET YOUR SORRY EXCUSE OF AN ASS DOWN HERE AT THIS MOMENT!" Dad screamed at Tony.  He was mad! Tony made his way down, casually.  Man is he in the shock of a life time.

"YOUR GROUNDED FOR A MONTH!  THAT WAS WORSE THAN MOST BULLIES IN HIGHSCHOOL!  NO MAKE THAT TWO MONTHS!!!! GO TO YOUR ROOM AND YOU AREN'T GETTING SUPPER TONIGHT!!!" Dad screamed at him.  Tony's face fell as he heard what was being punished to him.  He scowled at me but I just smirked.  He deserves this.  Maybe he will learn his lesson now that he is grounded for saying those things. 

Tony turned on his heel and stormed up to his room.  I looked back at them and mouthed a sorry and went to my room.  I flopped on my bed and groaned.  Jack looked so hot while soothing Skye today.  I realized that I'm starting to have feelings for him and he's not even trying!  God!  Why is this so hard?!
