Chapter4:The prophecy

YOUR POV:I wake up with strong arms around my waist.I turn around to see Shawn sleeping.I didn't want to wake him up so I slowly got out of bed.When I got to the hallway I decided to do some exploring.On my way down I see king mendes in his office.I quickly walk passed it avoiding him but a deep voice catches me."y/n"he said in a booming voice."Sir?"I answered."please come into my office I would like to talk to you."he said.I obeyed and came into his office."please have a seat."he said kindly."what would u like to talk to me about sir?"I questioned."first off don't ever call me sir,call me dad.second off,I want to know how u like it here."he asked."it's good here your son is making it better for me here."I replied."Good good and I'm assuming he told u about the prophecy,right?"he asked."Not really why is it something important?"I questioned."Yes very."he replied.He then got up from his sit and grabbed a large book from the shelf.He sat it down with a boom and opened it."three thousand years ago,there was this story about a soon to be vampire king.He had everything any king could ask for,but there was one thing he was missing and that was his queen.He searched long and hard until one day he laid his eyes on a beautiful human women.And that's when he knew he found his mate and queen."he said as I looked in the picture of the book.I have to say the king and queen look like me and shawn."they faced many challenges on the way but they became unstoppable together."he added."so u think the prophecy has something to do with me and shawn?"I asked."Oh Yes I highly believe so,and so does the queen."he said."well thank u for talking to me and telling me about the prophecy."I said heading out of his office."you're wlc y/n and another thing we all knew u were the one before u step foot in this palace."he said with a smile.I nodded my head and headed back up stairs.When I get back to the room I still see Shawn sleeping so I get back in bed so he that he thinks I never left."I know u and my dad were talking about the prophecy"he mumbled with his eyes still closed."how?"I asked scared."I have super hearing and plus I could tell u left."he mumbled back."how u know I left?"I asked laughing."because I couldn't feel your body heat and I could smell your scent down stairs."he said kissing my check and going back to sleep."we'll talk more about it when I wake up"he said."okay"I said and went back to sleep.
