I got the part! That's what the phone call was for. I cried for a while. It was all to real to be true. My dads couldn't stop smiling. They were both so proud of me.

The first day of rehearsal is today! I'm so excited! We must get our scripts today. I have watched a few things from the show and it looks really fun. I wake up really early so I can get ready.

After I finish getting ready I play on my phone. I had to be at the studio at about 9:30. Dad Kevin got up at about 8:00. Dad Connor and him decided that they would alternate on taking me to rehearsal. They both work, even though it isn't often. I don't know what they do. I think Dad Kevin is a lawyer and Dad Connor is a... He's a... he's a Vocal coach? I think he is. He has a good voice. He coached me leading up to all my auditions.

"Hey, are you ready to go?" Dad Kevin smiles.

"Yeah" I put on my coat and I slip on my boots. I don't want to get my sneakers wet. I really hate the feeling of wet sneakers.

So we walk to the studio. It doesn't take long, maybe 15 minutes. I'm happy we didn't get lost, which is quite common in New York City . Once we got lost going to the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. And then we found out that if you cut through another theatre, you get there. Yeah...

So when I get there I see Charity, Harmony and Olive. Only the kids are here. I wonder why? My friends wave me over. We bonded at the final callbacks. They are really nice.
"Hey guys, nice to see you again." I say. They laugh.
"Yeah" Charity laughs.
"Who do you thinks gonna open the show?" Olive asks us. I shrug.
"I don't know. It's random isn't it?" She nods.
"Yeah" we stare at each other.
"Attention everyone we are going to start with an icebreaker game. So let's all get into a circle." I almost sing the Make A Circle song... Oops. "So we are going to play the game 'shabooya' so who wants to start?" I shoot my hand up in the air. "Ok So start"
"My name is Sage"

"Yeah"

"I'm going to play Matilda"

"Yeah"

"And I love to do drop splits"

"Ok! Shabooya Sha-Sha-Sha-Shabooya! Shabooya Sha-Sha-Sha-Shabooya!"

"My name is Clare!"

"I play Small Girl swing"

"And I love pizza"

"Ok! Shabooya Sha-Sha-Sha-Shabooya! Shabooya Sha-Sha-Sha-Shabooya!"

"My name is Lilley"

"I'm gonna be Amanda Thripp"

"And I take ballet"

"Ok! Shabooya Sha-Sha-Sha-Shabooya! Shabooya Sha-Sha-Sha-Shabooya!"

"My name is Jack"

"I play Bruce"

"Yeah"

"And I like candy"

"Ok! Shabooya Sha-Sha-Sha-Shabooya! Shabooya Sha-Sha-Sha-Shabooya!" I zone out the rest of the game since I started. I know everyone's name though. After that we do a few improv games. They said we will do this for the first week. Then in the second week we will start to rehearse.

"So who's ready for the scripts!"

"Me!" We all shoot our hands up in the air.

"Ok so lets do this in an orderly fashion. Will the Matildas come up followed by Bruce then Lavender. After they get their scripts then we will have Nigel, Amanda, then Eric come up. After them it will be Small Girl Swing and Small Boy swing. Then it will be Alice, Tall Boy Swing, Hortensia, Tall Girl Swing , then Tommy." We all get our scripts and we look through them. I see all the sheet music too. "Ok and everyone please have a binder by Friday! You are dismissed!" I grab my coat and go out the door to see Dad Kevin.

"How was it?" I yawn.

"Good. We need a binder for the script" We walk out the door.

"Ok we will get it tomorrow." He takes my hand

"Ok" I don't feel like talking. I just want to go to bed. We finally reach home and I crawl right into bed.
