Wonderland

Chapter 6

"Alice" hatter smiles, pulling her into an embrace. "I'm so sorry I left you, I don't know what I was thinking" he says, his voice cracking a little towards the end, Alice pulls away, "Hatter, you have nothing to be sorry for. I'm here, I'm alive. It's okay, I promise" she smiled. After that there was silence, the tension in the room grew but so did what Alice was feeling, the hatter slowly edged closer, their eyes flickering from the each others eyes to their lips and back again, 'I've got to do it. This has to happen now' The hatter thought to himself, so he slowly leaned in, their lips just centermeters apart.

"Alice, Cas wants to see yo-" Gabriel's voice was cut off as he entered the room, the sound of the door made hatter and alice spring apart from the arms of each other, "Hatter! You're here! Oh the king will be so pleaded!" Gabriel exclaims. There were a few moments of silence before Gabriel spoke once again "Did I interrupt something?" He asked kindly. "No, no. Not at all" Hatter confirms. "let's go see the king, and no doubt, my brother" he finishes,Gabriel gives a simple smile and begins walking out the door and to the throan room, Alice and Hatter begin to follow, Alice walks first then feels a hand on her lower back as hatter joins at her side.

"Hatter? Is that you?" Cas asks from his throan, standing from it, he walks over, giving the hatter a quick hug "Castiel" he smiles "how long has it been?" He asks "Oh, a long time, maybe 5-6 years?" Cas says "Too long for an old part of the kingdom to not visit" Cas finishes off with a laugh "You were apart of the kingdom?" Alice asks, shock in her voice, "Not just any part, dear" Cas begins to fill in, "He was king" an all to familiar voice finishes off, Hatter and Alice both turn around "Hiya Sammy" he says, going up and pulling his brother into a hug.

"You were... king?" Alice asks with shock once again taking place in her voice making hatter sigh "Yes, I know every nail, brick and stone of this place, but it was king far to long ago" he says, taking a seat. "He became king after our parents died but the role was too much for him, so he handed it to Cas, and that was his last day in the kingdom, after that we were no longer Dean and Sam but Hatter and Cheshire and we have gone by those names ever since" Cheshire filed in. "Wait, 5-6 years ago? That would have made you like 15-16, why were you king at such a young age?" Alice asks. "My parents were king and queen, once they died, the crown went to next in line, me, being the oldest, I had to take it, I was king for a year until I gave my crown to Castiel and became hatter. I like who I am now. I never wanted to be king anyway" he shrugged. "Plus, time goes by a lot faster down here than it does in your world" Hatter pointed out.

"Now, can we get down to the real reason we're all here?" He asked, looking at Castiel. "Of course", he smiles, we have already gone through our plan to get the ring back now we need to set it into motion. Cheshire, you will pretend to get caught, making the guards and the king distracted, Gabriel that's when you come in, you will go to the Hell Hounds barn, where the ring is hidden but you will need to lure the beast out of there so you will need to turn into a rabbit so he chases you, okay?" Castiel asks, "okay" Gabriel confirms, "Good. Now, Hatter, you and Alice will fall shortly behind Gabriel but you're not to be seen by anyone"

"Once Gabriel lures the beast out that's when you go in, one guarding the door and the other getting the ring, once you have the ring, get out of there as fast as you can and return to me." He finishes "But what about Cheshire and Gabriel?" Alice asks "don't worry, once Gabriel losses the hound he will go and get Cheshire and they will both return back to me. Now this has to take place tonight, are we ready?" Castiel asks to the group of people "Ready" they all day in unison. Now go get ready, we will meet back here to have dinner then we will go." He says dismissing everyone.
