Getting off the tour bus, and walking inside to a press conference is the less of my worries, but now I feel everything is on us. Now, all the lights, cameras and all of the biggest news anchors from CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and CBS are here asking us questions. All six of us are sitting down, drinking water and clearing my voice. One reporter comes and asks an open question for all the guys.
"Well, this is an open question for the group. So what I wanna ask is, what do you guys have to say about the music that you do?" Dre clears his throat and went to the mic. "All we can say about, for the people that don't like our music, they can just don't have to listen to it." He smiles modestly and sits back. "But your music idolize gangs, drugs, and violence. So how do you feel about-" "Our art is a reflection of our reality. You know what you see when you walk out your front door. You know what I see?" Yella chimes in and says, "and it ain't glamor." Cube nods and laughs and keeps talking. "We got AK's coming in from Russia and cocaine coming in from Colombia. We rap about what's going on, and as sad and horrific that sounds...well, it's true." "And we don't have passports, either." Eazy says and laughs, and we all laugh back with them. I giggle softly and just listens to the guys with the answers they have to give to the reporters, and to be honest, I love that they're holding this very well and not acting like they don't know how to talk to people. After the press conference was done, Cube wraps his arms around around my waist and pecks my lips. I laugh and look at him. "Wonderful job out there dealing with the press." I say, taking his chain and wearing it. He smiles and nods. "Why thank you, I mean they weren't asking us nothing that we haven't heard anyway, you know?" I nod and holds his hand. "We should celebrate! Let's all go out to dinner tonight after a movie, if that's cool with you?" He looks down at me and raises his eyebrow. I nod and smile, "You know it's not an issue, baby. I'll just talk to momma and she's gonna say yes." He smiles and nods and takes me on the bus, and then we drove home and we all got ready for our movie/dinner date.
