'Run, run, run, run!' that's all I could think about right now, I looked back at the village that scorned me, and sentenced me to death with tear stricken eyes. 'how could they?' I thought 'Rin. Jin. Mako-Sensei. They all betrayed me, just because I was weak and couldn't keep my secret from them, but how could I? we were a team, we shouldn't have kept anything from each other. They were like my family.'

I stopped to catch my breath and look at the damage Jin inflicted. Leaning against a tree I looked down and saw my arms completely torn to shreds, Jin did all of this to me just because of what I was. A pulse ran through my head and a headache came soon after along with an all too familiar voice, 'Come now shanks, let me though, you know with my power we could kill them easily.' The spider said seductively.

"Monobo," I said sternly though gritted teeth, "You asked to take shelter in my body, and I said yes on the conditions that you do not cause harm to others, and that you never try to take over my body, we work together. Do you understand?" I asked, and I ripped off my shirt leaving my chest bare to the world, and began wrapping my arms up.

Slowly the pain went away as Monobo, the spider demon went back into the confines of my mind sighing, 'We can't work together if you don't give me any control child, I gave you power, at least let me maim a few people every now and again.'

I snorted as I finished my work, "Like that will ever happen."

'If it comes down living or dying which will you choose?' he asked.

Jumping though the trees again I thought about that, would I be okay with dying?

'No you wouldn't.' Monobo answered for me.

"Stop butting into my thoughts!" I yelled, probably the biggest mistake of my life thus far, because a shuriken landed right in front of me, looking back I saw a large group of Leaf ninja being led by my former companions Jin, and his sister Rin, both of them grinning like mad.

It scared me, I ran faster through the trees, but the suriken still kept flying overhead.

'Give me some control! I will help you Child!'

"You'll just kill them!"I hissed.

'You are a ninja! You will kill in your life, stop acting humble, I wont die because of it!'

He was right, being a ninja did entail that I would eventually have to kill someone at some time.

I reached into my pockets and then brought my hands together, "WIRE STRING BARRIER!" I said, the wire flung itself backwards and began to weave itself through the trees until it resembled a spider web, one of my Nijutsu at its best. I kept going and when I looked back again my eyes widened when I saw the first ninja get caught and torn to shreds by the sharp wires. The rest of them all stopped their pursuit and I was finally safe.

At least for the time being.

'Very good work child.' Monobo said.

"How did this all happen?" I asked myself.

That was the real question, and how long would I have to continue to run?
