He sits there by himself. The man, tall and thin, lets his tears fall to the ground where his mother lay. He layed bright purple lilies next to his mother. Her favorite flower.
It's been 15 years since his mother died. Her grave is now faded and colorless. She has been forgotten like the rest of his dead family.
He decides to get up and walk away. Like his father did when he was a child.
" Johne your nothing. Just like your mother." His father would tell him. He remembered; word for word.
A tear fell from Johne's eye once more. But this time, it was a tear of relief and hatred. Johne hated his father for what he did to him. Johne sighed of relief, knowing that he doesn't have to deal with his father anymore.
Johne walked away feeling like a new man. Johne felt different. He felt better.

When Johne arrived home, his children sat at the table with his newly wedded wife.
"Dear, we made you a lovely apple pie. We know you love it so much".
Johne's wife had an accent. An accent of the most powerful beauty. In which made her more attractive. Johne loved that woman, and he would die for her. Even if it means, taking the bullet for her.
Johne looked at his children and wiht his light accent, said; "Thank you, dear. Boys, I think it is bed for you, eh".
The boys looked at there father, and he looked at them. And with there accents, just like there mother, they complained to him. " But daddy, we aren't ready for bed. We aren't even tired". The boys grew a small grin on there faces and quickly hid it.
"Ok you can stay up," the boys smiles grew wide and big, showing there pearlywhite teeth. "But, you have to behave and you are going to bed at 10:30".
The youngest boy got so happy, he peed on the floor. The youngest was 2 years of age.
" Uhho daddy ". He started to cry.
"Oh, young boy, don't you frett. It's all part of growing up. Your brothers did it too"! Johne and the young boy started to laugh. The other boys grew upset with their father, for telling their young brother about their childhood.
" Come boys". Johne said. And they came and the oldest two sat on the floor while the youngest of them sat on Johne's lap.
"Now, when I was a young wee boy, me mum had told me one thing," the young boy interupted.
"Daddy, what did grandmum tell you"? The young boy was curious. Just as if he were a monkey.
Johne chuckled, " Grandmum told me 'never give up. You never know what life will bring you if you don't make silly mistakes"'! Johne laughed again.
The boys just looked at him, confused." When you make a mistake, it makes you grow. You are learning a new lesson". Johne took a breath. "When you fall, what do you do"?
The boys all started at once, " Get back up and try again".
"Yes. Very good. When you make a mistake its like falling. When you make a mistake you get back up and try again". Johne put down the youngest boy who was falling asleep in his arms.
The boys rubbed their eyes sleepily. " Alright boys, time for bed".
"Ok daddy". They exclaimed. Johne picked up the youngest boy, sleeping on the floor and brought him to bed. Then went to each of his boys and kissed them good night.
