You decide to attempt to save Maizie, you make a mad dash towards the tribute and ram yourself into him, toppling both of you to the ground. Maizie immediately pulls out a knife and shoves it in his neck. You look away with a queasy feeling rising and try to compress it. Another tribute runs at Maizie from the Cornucopia with a sword in hand. You back away as they engage in combat.
If you go to help Maizie, go to Chapter Forty
If you leave Maizie to fight for herself, go to Chapter Forty-One
