As I sit in the back seat of our family van, sun beaming through the window and hurting my eyes. My two little sisters next to me and my older brother in the back seat. My mum and father singing away to old songs, everything is perfect, everything is fine. We were on our way to the Hamptons, we stay at our family holiday house, we stay there every holidays. The house is big and blue, with a brown old porch that goes all the way around, with view of the ocean and the smell of the salt water in the air. The house is old but beautiful. As we pull up in the gravel drive way, I notice a family moved into the house next door. Parked in their driveway is a Ferrari and two Jeeps. The beautiful green grass and modern White House makes our little Hampton holiday house look so old and fragile. My father opened to the door and we were greeted with the smell of dust and sand. I go upstairs and open my window to let in light, I notice from across my room in the room next door is a boy. He is quite tall and goes down stairs and into his front yard. I hurry down stairs to get my suitcase and he looks over at me.
"Hi, I'm Clark. You must be staying over the holidays?" He says with a British accent. He walks over and shakes my hand.
"Hi. I'm, um, Addison! Addison Miles. And yeah this is my families holiday house, we stay here every summer holiday" I say as I look up into his deep brown eyes. He is so tall that he towers over me, he has dark brown hair, big brown eyebrows and deep brown eyes. With perfect clear olive skin and remarkably straight white teeth. He is far too perfect to be real.
"My family just moved in a couple months ago. I'm an only child and my parents are never home, always working, never have time for me.. Ugh whatever, wanna come in?" I look back and notice my mum smiling at me, signalling me to go. So I follow him into his house. His house is massive, everything white clean and marble, not a single thing out of place. His house is triple the size of my house next door.
"Wow, nice place! You actually live here?"
"Yeah we used to live in Miami but my dad got upgraded in his job and for some reason it was here in the Hamptons, my dad is a doctor and my mum is a lawyer. So they both get paid pretty good I guess." He said, pouring me a shot of vodka.
"Umm, it's the middle of the day, I don't think my parents will approve of me drinking right now" I said declining the drink.
"Your call!" He took his shot followed by mine. He showed me around his house and then sat on the balcony talking until my family called me for dinner. He looked at me with his big brown eyes and spoke with his soft gentle accent. "I have a party at the beach tomorrow, would you like to come with me?"
"Um, ye..."
"Great! I'll pick you up at 12 p.m" he said before I had a chance to reply.
