It was 8:00 in the morning and I had just come back from a swim in the beach. I looked out my window but Clark was still asleep. So I decided to shower and get ready for the party a couple hours early. I looked in the mirror, my long blond hair, wonky eyebrows and brown freckles that covered my cheeks. I kept my hair naturally wavy and put on a summer dress with my swimmers underneath. I had never been to a party before and didn't really know who or what to expect. Clark was 18 so I just presumed there would be a heap of 18 year olds. It was finally 11 o'clock and Clark came to the front door.
"Hey Chicken nugget" he said. He was wearing a singlet, which showed his abs through it. He was quite muscular and toned.
"Chicken nugget?" I questioned him.
"Yeah, I'm gonna call you chicken nugget because I love chicken nuggets and I think I'm gonna love you" I blushed and smiled. Gosh he was so cute and I really think I was starting to like him.We had arrived at the party, it was on one half of the beach and it was filled with 18-19 year olds. I was clearly the youngest person there and I probably had the most clothes on. There was alcohol everywhere, people dancing everywhere to the DJ which was set up near the bar. Clark had two cartons of beer and a bottle of vodka.
"Did you bring anything to drink?" Clark asked.
"Uh, no I forgot!"
"That's okay, you can have some of mine!" He said as he opened me a bottle of his beer. We had been at the party for an hour and Clark hadn't spoken a word to me, he was busy playing beer pong and dancing with other girls. Finally after another half hour of sitting alone sipping on the same bottle of beer, he decided to come over to me.
"Heeeeey chicken nugget! You looking fine!" He was drunk and slurred his words and his accent made it impossible to understand him.
"Um. I think I'm gonna go."
"What why! No you must stay!" He then leaned in and kissed me. We stayed together for the rest of the afternoon, and afternoon turned into night. We both had way too much to drink and ended sleeping on the beach.
The next morning I was awoken to the sounded of my mother yelling at us both to get up and get home! I was in so much trouble, but I had the best night ever. I wish I had someone to tell, but I had no friends back home, Clark was my first actual friend. Back at school everyone hated me. I don't know why, but ever since the first day of high school, people just haven't liked me. It was late and my family was fast asleep, so I decided to take my chances and go over to visit Clark. I snuck out the back door and jumped the fence into his backyard and knocked on the lounge room window. He quickly came and opened the door.
"Chicken nugget, what are you doing here?" He asked. His breath smelt of alcohol.
"I just wanted to see you and thank you for last night."
"That's fine, come in! I'm having a drink, would you like one?"
"It's 1 in the morning, why are you drinking alone?"
"Because chicken nugget, I'm a sad person" I grabbed a glass and poured myself a drink. We drank together til the sun came up.
"Uhhhhhh chicken nugget, let's run away together! I hate my family, my friends aren't important and I need to go."
"Are you serious? Where would we go?" I joked.
"Anywhere. I don't care. Let's just go! Let's leave tonight!" He declared.
"Haha, I can't just leave, what about my family?"
"What about them?" I gave him a kiss goodbye and snuck back into my room.
