Chapter 3- Turned, screw it

" Well done, bro!" He patted the shoulder of the guy who just came out from the mat and gave him a bro fist.

"Hell yeah man!! Thanks senpai..." that guy replied and then sat beside him.

They both settled down at the chair beside where we are sitting. The chair is not for you, is for the parents, jerk.

God is Holy. God is Glory. God is Powerful. What a wonderful creature.

" Marcus is walking over." Tara whispered to me when she sees Marcus walking near us.

"Well, it was two years ago. He's not my type anymore. He already had a girlfriend anyways." I whispered back but my eyes stick on Marcus.

"Okay, so who do you like now?"

"I never had a crush. I only have infatuation over hot dudes sometimes."

"I know, but tell me who has a higher chance to fall into your list in this campsite."

I look around, my eyes scanned from patrol to patrol. People are all around this campsite which is as big as half of a football field. Then my eyes fall on a committee who just walk out from a tent, wiping his sweat and laughing his tears out. The cuffs of his pants were torn as a result of his years of experience in camp.

Gotta admit, campers like us wouldn't change any parts of our camping attire. It's like our pride; it shows how experience we are in the squad.

"Brad," I blurt. "Brad, maybe. I had never notice he's actually so attractive and gentle" I shared some experience I had with him during the preparation of the camp with Tara. She totally agreed with me about his gentleness.

I realised you like guys with tanned skin huh, Daphne." Tara suddenly reminds me about my type of guy which is partly true. What a good observer she is. Not purposely but genetically I like tanned skin guy. Theoretically, this shows how much they had work under the sun with their six packs exposed. Stereotype.

"Oh really?" I was surprises by her statement.

" Yes my dear. Before that was Marcus and you told me Tommy is not bad but is just that he has a red nose like a reindeer. Now, Brad. All of them have tanned skin. And you never had an eye on Kenny who obvious has something on you. Because he's fair-skinned." Tara made her own assumption on what I did to Kenny. But she's wrong, I had my own reason.

" Whatever." I'm totally speechless.

I flashed back to the conversation I had with Tara during a camp I attended four days ago as a committee.

When I noticed this guy I'm looking at had tanned skin. I immediately study him.

Perfectly tanned skin, bangs covered his forehead, clear and liquid eyes, not too tall nor short, he has the body language as like he is always curious of something, and a smile that slows down the time. Hisnicely- shaped body is so obvious under his gi. He has his chest exposed through the gap of his gi. Icouldn't help myself and peeked at his nipple. 

"Erm, Daphne Parker?" somebody calls out.

"Yes? I'm here."

"Oh" A crew handed me a yellow belt to tie around my white belt. The purpose is for the judges to recognize the participants who are fighting on the mat later.

I see Kim came over and she settled down in our group. I'm so nervous. I had never been in a fight before. I only attended training for once in dojo before competition. Even the one in school, I only attended once a month.

I started to ask Kim a lot of questions like how we obtain marks, what are we not suppose to do, rules and regulation on the mat and so on.

Foreign Flash

Senpai- someone of a higher age, or senior in Japan ( The system is found at all levels of education, and in sports clubs, businesses, and informal or social organizations.)

Dojo- The training room or hall where judo is practiced.

Judo- A Japanese unarmed combat derived from jujitsu and intended to train the body and mind. It involves using holds and leverage to unbalance the opponent

Gi- uniform worn in the practice of martial arts (Usually white)

Hey friends!! I'm back from exam like finally!!

SO, Foreign Flash will be officially a column for translation in the story.There will be a lot of Japanese term used because Daphne is practising Japanese martial arts. Rock it!

My schedule will be temporary empty. I hope I could upload another chapter by today~~~
