I sat at the computer a familiar voice playing in the background as I worked on some paperwork. I was twenty-five and finally leaving the family nest. Headed to L.A. for my new graphics job with a small print company. "Come on Alana... you got this just fill out the rest of the apartment agreement then your done... then you can finish packing." I remind myself before sighing and hearing another disgruntled shout from my computer. I softly chuckle turning to put away the finished paperwork into a Envelope. This was the start of my life, being an adult was hard. I tried to do it before by myself and I know how that worked out. But maybe it just takes a second shot at it. Can't give up. Chin up. Look forward. Any mess ups are things I can learn from. Who was I kidding I was in a panic. I was scared.

Turning my attention back to the computer I look at the tabs and click on YouTube only to bring up the streaming video of Markiplier. A small smile tugged at the edges of my lips seeing his reaction to a jump scare. He looked as terrified as I felt about this new change.

He sure knew how to make girl smile and enjoy life, even if it was just for a few minuets. "And until next time! BYE-BYE!!!" I softly smile and mentally wave back to him. Thanks Mark, for a good laugh and all the smiles. I wanted to tell him that someday if I ever got the chance. Turning off my computer and starting to pack it away I breathed out. I can do it. Come on. It's just L.A. Sure changes can be hard... but who knows maybe I'll meet some cool people.
