"You're gonna have to be quiet okay? Like really, really quiet." I told Corgi ad I drove up to the house, he merely barked at me. I sighed and rubbed my temple.

Here goes nothing.

"What the hell is that?" Matt asked the second I stepped into the house. I glanced at him nervously.

"A dog?"

"I can see that but why is that here...Cam what did you do?" Matt asked, exasperated. I sighed.

"Mrs. Jung was gonna get rid of him but I told Freya I would take him in." I answered. Matt stared at me.

"Who the hell is Freya?" Matt questioned.

"The chick in the cell with him." Nash answered before I could.

I shot him a look. Beau and Jack Johnson entered the room.

"What the hell is that?" Johnson asked.

"A dog." Matt and I answered automatically.

"Wait, is that the dog I got the email about?" Beau asked. I nodded.

"I'll explain." Nash piped up.

He sat on the coffee table earning a look of annoyance from Matt as he told them what happened last night.

"So wait, wait," Beau started the second Nash finished speaking. "You did all this, for a girl?" I hesitated before nodding.

"About time you moved on!" He grinned.

What?

"I haven't done anything, I was just helping Freya." I answered slowly. Beau rolled his eyes.

"You don't see me taking care of Jenna's dog." Johnson said. I frowned at him.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.

"It means that you've got the hots for Freya." Nash replied in a duh tone. I scoffed.

"Yeah and pigs can fly."

"Don't make fun of Jai and Luke like that!" Beau mock chastised me.

"Who's making fun of me and Jai?" Luke asked walking into the room, followed by Jai.

Johnson started to explain what happened a few moments ago and Nash grabbed my shoulder.

"Well whether you like her or not, I need you to get her to give me Micah's number." Nash told me.

"Why don't you get it yourself?"

"I don't have Freya's number." He answered.

"What makes you think I have her number?" I challenged. Nash chuckled.

"Dude you have her dog, of course you have her number." I grudgingly uttered a fine and walked to the garden.

I still had no idea why they thought I had a thing for Freya, I barely even knew the girl.

"Corgi this is your new home." I told him pointing the garden.

Corgi barked and ran towards to pool and barked at it. I pulled him by the leash to the end of the garden and hammered down the nail at the end of it to the ground.

"No being loud okay?" I said, bending down to scratch his ear. He barked again before licking my cheek.

It was two days before Freya called me. It was taking so long, I wondered if she remembered Corgi at all.
