Ethan and Toto have left pallet town started their adventure in route 1 and are looking for wild Pokémon to catch in the field.
"Alright" Ethan said walking with Toto "Let the adventure begin!"
"Toto!" Toto said happily
Ethan and Toto walked in a field with lots of grass and a couple of trees.
"There's gotta be something good here" Ethan said looking around for Pokémon
"To"? Totodile said looking in the grass to see a Pidgey looking for food
"A Pidgey" Ethan said getting low
Ethan grabbed out Jake and faced it towards the Pidgey.
"PIDGEY" Jake said scanning it "THE TINY BIRD POKEMON, IT USUALLY HIDES IN TALL GRASS. BECAUSE IT DISLIKES FIGHTING, IT PROTECTS IT SELF BY KICKING UP SAND"
"Well I'm going to catch it!" Ethan shouted
The Pidgey looked up and saw Ethan and kicked dirt up at his face and flew away.
"Ops" Ethan said whipping the dirt off his face.
Ethan looked around to see if there was another Pokémon he could catch but they all heard Ethan and ran away. Ethan started to walk along the path hoping to find something good and heard something in the grass.
"Shh" Ethan said "I hear something"
Toto putted his hands on his snout as Ethan walked to the grass to see another Pidgey.
"Yes" Ethan whispered
The Pidgey was standing there looking for something.
"Ready Toto?" Ethan ask
"Totodile" Toto replied nodding his head
"Alright" Ethan said revealing him self to the Pidgey "Toto, stand by for battle!"
"Toto!" Toto said jumping in front of the Pidgey.
"Pidgey!" Pidgey said getting ready for battle
"Alright" Ethan said "Toto use scratch!"
"Toto!" Toto said leaping towards the Pidgey
Toto got his claws and scratched the Pidgey. Pidgey then flapped it's wings towards Toto making an air current that knocked him back
"Toto!" Toto said trying to hold it's position
"You got this Toto!" Ethan cheered
The Pidgey then flew towards Toto and tackled him on the ground
"Toto!" Toto said getting hit on the ground
"Come on get up Toto!" Ethan said
"Toto" Toto said
"We almost got him" Ethan said "Now use leer!"
"Toto!" Toto said glaring at Pidgey lowing it's defence
"Pidgey!" Pidgey said trying to look away
"Now Scratch!" Ethan ordered
"Toto!" Toto said Scratching Pidgey
"Pidgey!" Pidgey said getting hit
"Alright!" Ethan said "Scratch again!"
"To!" Toto said scratching Pidgey again
"Pidgey!" It said getting hit
"That's it!" Ethan said reaching for a Poke ball "Here goes nothing!"
