I never meant to be in the situation I'm in now. At least, not this deep into the situation.
No one would listen to me. I was an innocent, but my parents managed to convince the police officers and everyone else on my case otherwise. They saw this as their chance to get rid of me, ans they took it gladly. So, my only solution was to become "insane" and stay in Arkham for a few months. No harm there, right? I didn't think I would ever interact with anyone from the "rogues" gallery, as Dr. Arkham and the guards call it. Anything was better than Blackgate.
I guess Irony has it out for me or something.
Just a few months ago, my biggest worry was that Jacob Kayas would reject me to be his senior prom date. Now, my biggest worry is whether or not I can leave the Asylum alive, and if I can ever leave at all after everything dies down.
But...I guess I'm getting ahead of myself.
Every story needs a good beginning, so I should tell you mine...
