"Griffin, are you sure this really is a good idea? I mean they say this place is supposed to be haunted." My sister Jazmine said to me as I led our group through the door to the pathway that would lead into the bunker that we were heading into. As we were told, lots of people had come down to explore this place and never come back. But I wasn't afraid of any of that. We came out of the end of the pathway and entered a giant room that looked like it had been abandoned for years. We pulled out the flashlights and shined them around a bit. To be completely honest, it really did creep me out, the way this room looked. But I was going to prove to everyone that this place isn't haunted. As we came into the main area, I felt something weird in the pit of my stomach. I ignored the feeling and turned around to the rest of the group. "So guys, anyone up for some exploring?" "Sure" Jack replied from the back of the group. "Cool, so how do you guys want to do this?" I asked the crowd. Marcus was the next to chime up, saying "Maybe we split up into pairs." "Well does everyone else agree with that?" Since everyone seemed in agreeance, we we decided to go that route. Damien and Marcus took off down one of the pathways, my sister and Bryant went casually through another exit. The last pair to leave was Jack and Rose. Which left Blaire and myself. "Care to walk with me, my lady?" I asked in a joking tone. "I guess so, but I'm not your lady unless you're willing to try a little harder than that" she returned, and cracked a smile. I laughed a little, then followed her down a nearby pathway that we didn't exactly know where it led. After a minute, we came into another big room. We shined the light around the room and saw something small scurry across the floor. "I think that was a rat" I said, shining the light back onto the last spot where I'd seen the creature. That was when I noticed a dark red looking puddle on the floor. That couldn't be what I thought it was. But it was. "What was it?" Blair asked me as I examine the puddle of what had to be blood. I turned back to her and said "It's blood..." That was when we heard a loud scream that came from a nearby hallway.
