I stared at Max's deep blue eyes, they seemed like the ocean to me, nothing less nothing more and I could be lost in that ocean forever. I couldn't believe that he had just done that, but what was unbelievable was that I didn't do anything to stop him and that I wanted more.

As if he could read my mind Max grabbed my chin carefully and touched my lips with his thumb.

"Lizzy, I'm sorry for the horrible things that I did to you in Middle School. If I knew that you were going to be my mate I would never done such thing to you." Max told me.

"What if I wasn't your mate, would you still be sorry for the things you did?" I asked him.

"Of course, nobody deserves to be treated the way we all did to you. And I promise that I will make everything up for you starting from now." Max said turning on the car.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

"To your house to get you some clothes." Max said as he started to drive.

Wait, what?

"Why?" Was all I managed to say in this situation, but it caused mad butterflies to fly all around my stomach, how could this be normal?

"I'm taking you to the beach and you're not planning to go like that right?" Max asked me.

I shook my head as I tried to hide my blush.

As we pulled out of the ice cream parking lot and headed to the road Max took my hand in his and I stared at him.

"Is this okay?" Max asked me.

"Yes." I said in a soft voice.

'Yes? Is that all you have to say? It's fucking amazing!' My wolf yelled.

"But..." I added.

'Don't ruin this Elizabeth.' My wolf warned me.

"What?" Max asked me as he stared at me with those perfect blue orbs.

"I don't think it's a good idea for you to be driving with one hand and looking at me instead of the road." I said.

"Are you afraid that I might crash?" Max asked me with a small smirk.

"Um...partly but it's also because you make me-."

"Nervous?" Max said as he interrupted me.

I closed my mouth and nodded.

"This is embarrassing." I murmured.

"Don't worry Lizzy; you give me the same effect." Max said.

I didn't know how to define this at all but I was for sure convinced that this was the beginning of something.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Max asked me when we got to my house.

"If you want to you can join me." I said as I got out of the car.

As I walked to my house Max caught up with me and grabbed my hand.

I started at it meanwhile we walked.

'I could get used to this.' My wolf said.

But could I get used to this?

Max's P.O.V

I followed Lizzy to her room and meanwhile she changed in the bathroom I looked around. The room had a different view as how I had seen it the other night, the walls were a pale yellow color, the bed was a beige color and there were pictures all over the place, most of them were about Lizzy and her friend Nick, there was also some of Lizzy with her brother Taylor but the thing that really called my attention was a picture of Lizzy with a kid they both seemed six or five, Lizzy was wearing a red full body swim suit and glasses and she was kissing the kid in the cheek.
