I wake up and groan into my pillow. Another day on the tour bus, which means another day of avoiding Jay. After Tom saw him and Tasha together, he did what I thought he would.

He stormed over, pulled Jay off her and proceeded to scream the club down. Jay did nothing but stand there in shock. I was too drunk to do anything but I felt a handgrip mine and Nareesha gave me a small smile. I went to bed that night with a weird hollow feeling in my chest.

I get up from my bunk and wander into the front area of the bus and I put on the kettle. Then I heard someone open the bathroom door. I sigh and out my hands over my face.

"Please not Jay," I mumble.

"Hello darling, what has you up this early?" Jayne asks me.

"Ah I couldn't sleep, the bus is moving too much." I lie to her before making my tea and sitting on the couch.

Jayne was lovely, probably insane after taking care of all of them but lovely. She seemed to take a shining to me immediately which I found out was down to the fact that I kept Tom "out of trouble".

I know, I don't know how that makes sense either; if I'm honest, I thought we brought out the worst in each other.

"Bet you're glad that tonight you'll be sleeping in your own bed."

"Like you wouldn't believe!" I laugh.

"Morning"

I look up and I see Jay, sweats hanging off his hips and shirtless rubbing his eyes.

"Morning," Jayne cheerily announces, either blissfully ignorant or unaware of the tension between us.

"Morning," I look up at him. He looks....... Relieved?

"Morning, "he smiles over at me. He makes himself a bowl of cereal before he plonks himself down next to me.

"You ok?" he asks me, concern in his eyes

"Yeah fine, couldn't sleep so I'm just emailing the office and stuff."

"It feels like I haven't talked to you in ages."

"We've been busy that's all."

He just stares at me, as I'm a puzzle he's trying to figure out. It's starting to unnerve me.

"I thought you we're avoiding me." He tells me, truthfully.

Looks like Jane has gotten the hint that it's a serious conversation and she left, saying something about talking to the driver.

"Why would I avoid you?" I ask him

We both knew the answer why, because we both had this strange hold on our hearts, which either of us refused to let go

"Okay then, can we start on a clean slate then?" he asks.

"Course,"

"Morning all," He clicks on the kettle, "so party tonight?" he looks over at me.

I love Tom with all my heart but this is the 3rd night in a row. I'm wrecked and if I'm honest, I have nothing to wear in my suitcase.

"What's everyone doing?"

He grins as he sits on the counter.

"Tom. I seriously think you're trying to kill me." I groan.

"Awh Kee please," he gives me sad eyes. "It's our last date and it'll make me happy and you can help me pick up girls."

I look at Jay who has sad eyes too, complete with whimpering.
