Birthplace: St. Paul, Virginia, but was moved to Clarksville with her Great Aunt.
Backstory: Her mama decided that her pipes and needles were more important than her and her half brother Johnny. She took care of him while her Great Aunt Darla was at work. She did the best she could for her niece's kids but it was a lot on an old body. Amber often fended for herself. She did unmentioned things for money just to keep food on the table. She and Johnny became separated when their fathers got into a physical altercation and Johnny was forced to move by the courts.
