The water was warm, as I laid in the pond. Dreek felt I needed the water to relax, so no complaints from my end.
"Alright, explain."
*sigh*
"Isn't it obvious, sister dear?" A shake of my bleach white hair tells him no. "You saw your soulmate. Every vampire who meets their soulmate, reacts in this sort of way. It's like seeing a spider to an arachnophobia, automatic reaction. Do you understand?"
Now is the time to jump up and down, right? So why am I not excited. And why did my reaction have to be so.. Embarrassing?
"Does that mean that I am his as well?"
"Yes."
"Why didn't he react the same way?"
"Some vampires don't show their reaction. It's only emotional"
My brother looks me over.
"I am heading home. Please do not make mother and father worry. Be home earlier than last night. Love you sister dear."
"Mkay, love you too."
Only one thing passed through my head while I curled up under my favorite tree as my brother left.
When will I see that perfect creature again..
