You walked past the main school as there was a short cut past the school.

"I'll see you after school okay bunny~? We'll go to mall and get you those pair of heels you wanted." You turned your head and saw maehara Hiroto with Kaho Tsuchiya, maehara's girlfriend. You could feel your heart sink, even though you were his seat partner and his best friend besides Isogai. You could feel your eyes getting watery. You rub your tears away and begin to walk to the short cut. "Huh? [f/n]? [F/N]! Wait up!" You froze and put on a fake smile. "What? Maehara? What are you doing here?" You smiled innocently. "I was sending Kaho chan to school! Come on! We're gonna be late if we don't hurry!" He grabbed your wrist with a smile and begin to jog happily. You smile at his happy face and giggled.

I like when you smile...

"Oh come on! Pleaseeeeeee!" You shake your head playfully, refusing to give him your homemade origini. "But [f/n] chan's origini is the best!" Maehara whined like a kid. You were about to give him one until...

RING~~~

"Hello?" He picked up the phone totally ignoring you. Your smile faded as he greeted the caller which was Kaho. Your hand holding the origini retreat and you looked down. "Hai! I'll be there bunny~" He excitedly responded before ending the call. " I have to go to the main building for a while. Tell Koro sensei I have something to do at the main building alright~?" He ruffled your hair. You force a smile and nodded," hai..." He thank you and quickly disappeared into the forest. You sat there in silence, tears starts to drip down your face," stupid maehara..."

But you smile brighter at others...

"I'm back..." You opened the classroom door and walked back to your seat. "Something happened..what did?" Isogai demanded an answer, "Is it maehara?" You tried to refuse but Isogai knew too well what was happening." Geez...I was hoping you two will get together..." He sighed. "Don't worry...he's with Kaho." You have a small smile before taking out your revision notes. Giving that "don't disturb me" atmosphere.

Ring~~~

"Okay class~ take out your textbook~ anyone knows where maehara went?" Koro sensei looked at the empty desk. "Ah he went to the main bui-" you were cut off by the classroom door opening and a panting maehara walked in,"sorry...I'm late!" He walked back to his seat beside you and plop down. You tired your best to make any eye contact with him. "Okay class~ we will be covering a new topic and than we will have group revision before ending the day~" Koro sensei continued before teaching the new topic.

"Okay~~ now get into your groups and start revising~~" Koro sensei quickly arrange the tables at Mach 20. You got into your group of three you,Isogai, maehara. "hey are you all free after school? I'm having a shift at the cafe! I can get you free food." Isogai said enthusiastically. "I'll go!" You smiled. Both you and Isogai looked at maehara scratching the back of his neck," Etto....I kinda have a date with Kaho San...I'm sorry..." Your smile slowly faded and you gave your usual fake smile. "Can you p-" you cut isogai's words,"okay...have fun okay?" Maehara looked up and smile brightly before nodded enthusiastically," HAI!" The three of you than begin to revise. When maehara was concentrating on his work, he didn't realized that Isogai was looking worried at the both of you. You met eyes with Isogai's worried eyes and shaked your head slightly shrugging what just happened.

Ring~~~

"Yey! School is finally over! I'm going to meet Kaho San!" Maehara exclaimed. Those words hurt your heart, it's like a thousand knife just poking your heart. You didn't have any mood to say goodbye, you only followed Isogai silently. "let's go..."you muttered silently to Isogai. He nodded and quickly lead you to the cafe.

"You know...I don't like seeing you like this..."Isogai said putting your [favourite hot drink] on the table. "I'm sorry....thanks for the drink...I'll pay you back." You looked at your drink with your soulless eyes. "It's my treat. Don't pay me back alright?" Isogai smiled at you. You smiled slightly before looking down. Taking a sip of your drink, savoring the taste of it. You don't know what to feel anymore. You remembered the day maehara and Kaho first got together. They only spend time together when they see each other, he would put you before her but as time past by he started caring more about her, making up excuses to see her and put her before you. You knew it happened because she was his girlfriend, but you also knew that he should treat his best friend the same as how he usually treats them. "

"Hey!" Isogai raised his voice. You snapped out of it and looked at Isogai's eyes. You were so deep in thought that Isogai had to shook you out of it. "Look." He pointed out the cafe window. You saw maehara and Kaho together holding hands and laughing. Just looking at them makes you heart sink. "Here comes trouble..."Isogai said. You saw Seo Tomoya walking towards them with his gang of friends. "Kaho...I thought you had councilor work to do." Seo said, his face showed a bit of shocked. "Ah! Seo Kun! I finished early and maehara wanted to accompany me. It's not what it seems." Kaho protest but Seo wasn't convinced."but...I thought we were together..."maehara butted it. Kaho turned to maehara with a disgusted face," together? Ew! You wants to be with you!" Kaho shouted, she slapped his face before running to seo's side."what are you trying to do with my girl?" Seo wanted to lift his fist but something hit the side of his face. He reached and touch it, it was ice cream!

He turned and saw you holding an ice cream cup. "Don't hit him!" You said firmly. "Look who's here~ the lacker!" He teased."how life after dropping out of A class huh? Probably terrible~look how pathetic you are!" Seo walked towards you. You were disgusted by his face,"could you take a breath mint? Your breath stinks worse your armpits." You covered your nose and mouth. "Why you." He raise his fist but he got punched in the face and landed on the floor. "Don't touch [f/n] San." There was a dark aura around him. "Tch..." Seo clicked his tongue before walking away with Kaho and his gang.

"Are you alright?" Maehara inspected you checking for injuries. "I'm fine. How about you? I saw that he was about to hit you." You looked at his bruised cheek,"Here." You wet the your towel and wiped his cheek earning some hissing and groaning. "Thank you [f/n] San." He muttered. "If you weren't here...I don't know how I'll survive that punches." You felt like touched. You embraced him, wrapping his arms around him, since you're a bit shorter than him, you had to tip toed a bit to reach his height. "Don't worry...I'll be there when you need me..."you assured him. "[f/n] San...guess what..."you pulled back a bit and gave you a kiss on the lips. A soft yet passionate kiss. You were shocked at the sudden movie but participate in the kiss. Both of you pulled back and smile.

"I love you [f/n] San....I should have chose you instead..."
