You can still remember that day so clearly, I mean how could you ever forget a day like that? Huh? That day was simultaneously the best and the worst day of your life, the day you found out you were pregnant with the most precious little thing in the world, your daughter Delilah. It was also the day the love of your life, Ashton Irwin, left you. That day you didn't know what to do whether to be happy because of Delilah or heart broken because of Ashton so most of the day you sat in the spot where it all kicked off. You sat for hours just staring at the wallpaper, your eyes showing no emotion what so ever. Every line in the wallpaper, every dent in the wall from the arguments with Ashton, every tiny rip in that paper.

A few tears slid down your cheek as the memory of that day played over and over in your head like it had done every other day since then. Silently sniffing you looked at the pictures of Delilah and you that adorned your room. Her innocent little eyes staring at the camera, her little toothy smile so wide, her dirty blonde hair delicately tickling her shoulders. God how she looked like her father. Those hazel eyes that sweetly draw you in,her hair the same colour as his. God even the way she laughed resembled him, she was truly his double, in every way only she hasn't broken my heart yet. Just wait until she is a teenager I hear you say. Well we will see.

Still deep in your trance you hadn't felt the bed dip, Delilah trying her hardest not to fall off the bed as she crawled her way over to your lap where she knelt. Those eyes looking into your tear filled ones made you come back to reality.Looking back into hers they instantly grew sad. My beautiful little girl, the light of my life. Shifting in your lap her bottom lip starts to quiver.

"Oh no princess what's wrong!" You instantly drew your attention to her.

Her eyes watered further as she brought her hands up to cup your face, " Mummy please don't cry.."

Hugging her tightly you giggle re-assuring her that you were okay. The door bell rang throughout the house interrupting your warm embrace. Making your way down stairs you open the door to reveal your best friend, Becky.

She was the one who kept you sane after"that" day, she would always check up on you, take care of you when you weren't feeling that great during the pregnancy, hell she nearly uprooted and hunted Ashton down when she discovered what happened, that was until Harry managed to calm her down. She was truly the greatest person you had ever known aside from your daughter obviously. She would move mountains if she could for you.And you couldn't deny you would do the exact same for her.

"Auntie Becky!" Delilah exclaimed running towards her latching onto her leg as she made her way into the house.

After hugging and having a quick chat you made your way to the kitchen to put the kettle on. Pouring the boiling water you heard Delilah and Becky having a conversation.

"How's mummy been, sweetie?" She whispers.

"She's been crying again. Auntie Becky I don't like it when mummy cries. It makes me sad." She whispers back sadly before hugging her.

Leaning against the counter you tried once again to fight back the tears. You are not going to cry over him, not again, he isn't worth it.

Later that day you and Becky decide to take Delilah to the park to play. The sun is blazing not a single cloud is to be seen in the sky, the birds whistle back and forth to one another and for the first time in what feels like a long time you actually feel happy. The smell of freshly mown grass dances around your nostrils and a genuine smiles plays across your face.
