Confusing Thoughts

Ross's POV
I'm still confused about why I lied to the Nurse about how Kyle was injured. Why did I lie? Jin deserves to get detention for punching Kyle but, I can't do that to him. I don't know why, I just can't do that to him.
"Ross? Are you okay?"
I looked up to see Seto looking at me, worried and confused.
"I don't really know. I feel as if I'm making a mistake but at the same time, I don't think I am."
I admitted. I was currently eating lunch with Seto and  Shelby.
"What happened, exactly?"
Shelby asked me.
"Well, I bumped into some guy named Jin. Kyle came over and called me a nerd, as always. I guess Jin took it the wrong way and punched him, giving him an black eye. I don't know why he could give a shit, though."
I explained, leaving out the part about me lying to the nurse.
"He punched Kyle? Is he okay?"
Shelby asked me.
"I brought him to the nurses office. He should be okay. The only thing Jin did was give him a black eye."
I explained to them, trying to make Jin not sound like a total asshole.
Wait, why the fuck should I care about that asshole? He punched Kyle!!!!!!
He's an ASSHOLE!!!!!!!
"Ross! You're doing it again?"
Shelby told me, interrupting my thoughts.
"Huh?"
I asked them.
"Seriously, are you okay?"
Seto asked me, as if he's very worried about me.
"Um................I don't know if I am or not."
I replied, honestly.
"You can tell us what's wrong. We're friends after all."
Shelby told me.
Should I tell them? I don't even know what I'm thinking exactly.
"I don't know what wrong. That's the thing. It's confusing."
I replied.
Then, the bell rang and we all got up, leaving our trays on the table, to go to class.
"Hey, maybe Seto knows what you're feeling."
Shelby suggested.
"What do you mean by that?"
Seto asked Shelby.
"I mean, you said that you always get confusing thoughts in your head. Maybe you can help Ross in someway? I don't know."
Shelby suggested but didn't feel confident.
"I guess I can."
Seto replied as he looked away, as if he's  trying to hide something on his face.
"Okay, thanks Seto. You're a real pal!!"
I thanked Seto.

The three, then, entered Math Class and saw something going down.
It was Kyle and Jin, and they looked like they were getting into a fight.
