Not Alone Anymore (Solangelo)

Nico's POV

It's been two days since the double date, and no one has seen Will.

"Hey Lou?" I ask once school lets out. She faces me, her expression worried.

"Yeah?" Lou Ellen mumbles.

"I'm worried about Will," I whisper, my voice probably too quiet for her to hear.

"Yeah... Me too. He's never missed a day of school before. Ever."

I look at her. "I'm going to his house," I say firmly.

Lou nods, "Go get 'Em tiger!" She jokes but I can hear the pain in her voice. I nod and run off towards Will's house

I arrive at his house and try the door, surprisingly its unlocked. "Will?" I call and raise an eyebrow seeing the mess.

I look around the bottom floor before going up their creaky, wooden steps. "Will? What happened? Where are you?!" I yell

I peer into a room and see it also ransacked and covered in blood. I see two dead bodies and let out a yelp.

"WILL!" I scream and run around frantically I run around blindly and trip over something. Will.

For a fleeting moment I think he's dead but I feel the faintness of his pulse. He's unconscious.

"WILL!" I yell, shaking him. "WILL WAKE UP!"

I leave him be for a bit before grabbing his phone out of his pocket. I decide to call 911 first.

"Hello?" The dispatcher says.
"Hello! Please come quick! My friend is unconscious and barely breathing and his house has been broken into and his family is dead!" I yell and also give them the address.

"We'll be right over!"

I hang up and call Lou Ellen, and she would be right over too.

I look over at the lifeless Will. "Please wake up Will! Please!" I mumble.

His eyes start to flutter open. "Ni... Co?" He mumbles.
