Extended Description:When Rachel left Hayden the summer before senior year, he was suppose to feel relieved. He had spent his entire junior year trying to get away from her. But now that Rachel was gone for good, the pain he felt was shockingly worse than what she laid upon him.
Because despite what everyone thought about the two, they didn't have a perfect relationship. Yet who knew that behind closed doors and assuring smiles, Rachel would hurt Hayden - over and over again.
But with Rachel gone forever, Hayden felt like apart of him was missing. That, somehow, deep down inside of him he had true feelings for the girl who robbed him of his life.
Epigraph:

A/N:
Before you dive into the chapters, let me warn you that this story might not suit everyone's taste. It's a lot different from what I usually post and also written in third person. But beside it being third person, this is by far the most phycological and deepest novel I've yet to finish write.
I hope you guys can read this story with a open mind. Rachel's character is heavily flawed and in some scenes, straight-up ruthless. But does that mean she isn't capable of being loved? Or being in love? You can argue all you want that Rachel never loved her boyfriend, Hayden. But they have been together for six months prior, the longest both of them have been with someone. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't want you to criticize her when you don't understand where she is coming from. I'm not siding with Rachel or telling you that Hayden deserved to be treated the way he did, because they both had some faults.
But despite all of that, I want to stand up to this subject matter of abuse. And though it may be romanticized in this story, it isn't real life, this is only a mere work of fiction. So take this with a grain of salt, and hopefully you can learn something along the way or even surprise yourself.
