Alexis P.O.V
I looked around the classroom and see it decorated with a bunch of books and white boards I think that what mom told me what they were. I looked around to see if I can play with any news kids. I started walking when I bump into a little girl and we both fell to the ground.
"Owie." The girl said.
"Oh I'm so sorry. I didn't mean too bump into you." I said and help the girl up with a shy smile. She smiled back showing me she lost a tooth.
"Oh my god did I bump into that hard I made you lose a tooth?" She giggled and shook her head no."oh okay good." I smiled."uhh my name is Alexis what's your name?"
"Elizabeth. But my mommy calls me Beth. So I guess you can call me Beth." She smiled again but before I can say any this our teacher spoke up. "Hello and good morning class I'm you kindergarten teacher and my name is Mrs. Palmer."
Class: "Good morning Mrs.Palmer."
Mrs. Palmer: "Wonderful!! Okay now can every come and sit at the rug in a circle so we can all get to know each other?."
I turned to the girl to ask if she wanted to sit next to me but she already sat next to another girl with pink ribbons in her hair. I looked to see if there was an empty spot for me next to her but there wasn't.
"You can sit next to me if you want?"
I looked down to be met with a pair of brown eyes that belong to a boy with a Carmel hair color. I smiled and nodded and sat next to him.
"I'm Justin, if you were wondering." I turned to face him as he look down at his shoe. He was playing with his shoelace.
"I'm Alexis, and why are playing with your shoelace? Are you nervous or something?" I giggled as he turned to me with a surprised look on his face, but before he could answer the teacher spoke up.
"Okay class today is your first day kindergarten and what we are going to do since it's the first day we are going to go around the circle and say our name and what we like to do. Okay so I'll go first, My name is Mrs. Palmer and I like to go swimming. Okay who's next?"
" Me I guess." I turned my attention to a little boy with black hair that had spike up he was tan and had a nice smile. Huh he's cute.
"Well my name is Taylor And I like to play soccer." He said and a bunch of girls giggled and some boys started to cheer him on even the boy next to me. I played soccer too hmm. Well it went around the circle then it was almost my turn with the girl next to me started talking. I got a little nervous I started to shake my leg a little.
"Are you nervous or something?" I turned to see Justin smiling as he whispered what I said to him. I gave him a dirty look and I was about to answer him when the teacher called on me. I froze up just for a little until I heard Justin laugh. I rolled my eyes and spoke up not wanting Justin to see I was nervous.
"Hi everyone I'm Alexis but my mom calls me Lexi. Umm well I like to do many things actually."
"Well that's fine name your top five favorite things Lexi." My teacher said.
"Um okay well I like to play soccer too, I dance, I sing sometimes, I like playing video games with my cousins, and I play the guitar and piano." I said and look around to see every boy in the classroom had their mouth open.
"What?" I said looking at them
"Your a girl and you play video games and soccer? And the guitar? That's so cool. I'm going be your best friend now." I look to see it was Taylor saying that and I blushed and smiled until I heard someone else spoke up
"Uh no she's my best friend." I turned to my side and see Justin say that. I opened my mouth to say something when our teacher spoke up.
"Okay class let's continue we have one more person and after this is lunch and then recess." She look at me then at Justin and told him he's next.
"My name is Justin and I like soccer too and Alexis is my best friend."
"Okay that good Justin now class get in a line and let's head out for lunch."
