I took a sip of enchanted tea in my fathers kitchen. Every time I put my cup down the spoon hovered back into the cup and stirred for me. After hugging my father, he explained Freddie was staying with us because he was my animal guide. Animal guides were for people who didn't necessarily need a guardian angel.

My nymph family members went to their home to retrieve something, which they explained was a surprise. My dad had me wait in the kitchen while he went to go check on something.

"So." Freddie caught my attention. "Today must have been a long day for you. I have no doubt you're curious about the school that Deloris mentioned. I just want to warn you that you've taken in a lot of new information today, and despite not being human, you were raised as one. Which means you can get overwhelmed easily. If you really want to know before nightfall today, your father will tell you. I am just worried about giving you too much to handle." He sounded concerned. I smiled.

"Thank you for caring Freddie. I remember you were watching when the crash happened. You've always been there haven't you? Always watching over me?" I reached out and ran my hand over his fury head and down his back.

"Of course. I like to think of you as one of my kits. I do believe I did somewhat have a hand in raising you." He said. I stopped him.

"Wait, wait." I giggled. "You have kids?"

"Oh yes, five babies. Their mother is beautiful arctic fox. Her name is Lily. I hope you can meet her one day." He said. Just as I was about to ask him more about his family my father came back.

"This is her." My father pointed to me, and a middle aged couple both stood behind him. Their faces lit up seeing me.

"These are my parents." My father told me. "Jamison and-"

"Lori." I finished for him. "Deloris told me." My grandmother walked over to me and gave me a hug.

"Oh look how pretty you are!" She said. I looked at her. She had my fathers red hair, and wore bohemian style clothing. My grandfather had brown hair, and a silk waistcoat.

"I don't mean to sound rude, but how do you two look so young?" I asked them. My grandfather laughed.

"We died when Saul was only nineteen dear child." So my fathers name is Saul.

"If you're ghosts than why can I touch you? Why aren't you transparent?" I hoped I didn't sound stupid.

"Well ghosts can take physical form in the underworld dear." My grandmother told me. "Sometimes even in the human world with enough energy." I suddenly remembered. My grandmother was a witch.

"So do you still practise magic?" I asked her. She laughed taking out a glossy wand, thiner at the tip, out of a sheath around her waist. It was purple with gold paint outlining painted on green flowers.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Grandmother asked me. "It's my newest one. I had two others, one I gave to Lorraine. It was black like her hair with gold trimming around blue flowers. I saved a white wand with gold and pink painted flowers for you, if you want to practise magic as well." She offered.

"Of course I do." I said right away. A god, and angel, and a witch. I could be a triple threat.

"You should take time to decide." My father suggested. I shook my head.

"No. It's part of my heritage, just as much as being a god and an angel is." I insisted. Grandmother held my hands and laughed.

"Good girl!" She praised. "In that case, I'll go get your wand." She then disappeared out of thin air, and I almost jumped.
