Before you read this, the poem was inspired by the song, "Wedding Dress" by TaeYang (you should check it out if you haven't heard it) and I wrote in the perspective of TaeYang.

Why did it take so long for you to realize,

That I was there for you the way you were for me,

He who made you see blind,

I stand here hoping you'll realize,

This hopeless love would materialize,

This hurts, it hurts, that you're not by my side,

When all three of us were friends, you, him, and me

I wish to turn back time and rewind,

Where it was just me and you in paradise,

Me, you, and him a compromise,

This hurts, it hurt, that you're not by my side,

I wish to turn the clock to where there could've been a you and me,

My two best friends intertwine and leave me behind,

A ring that your love symbolize,

But him and I have two different rings for one idealize,

Before my chance you've already said yes before my eyes,

But not for me,

This was ill timed,

I sat and watched as they march down, her gaze hypnotize,

I can see you walk down in your wedding dress, finally realize,

Smiling in disguise,

Hoping you'll be happy,

This hurts, it hurts, our memories left behind,

But I hope you'll finally realize,

And I apologize about these goodbyes.
