So it's still summer vacation, sadly, there is only a six till school starts and I'm moving. I'm moving from St. Louis, Missouri to Cambridge, Massachusetts. Weirdly, I know I should feel sad, but I'm sorta happy. I think it's because Massachusetts is where Harvard University and I want to go there for my college plans since I want to be a doctor. I am in High school and in tenth grade, er, more like going to be. Oh, shoot, I need to say good-bye to my friends.

"Mom, I need to go say good bye to Arisa, Juliet, and Sally before we go," I said.

"Ok, dear, don't be out for so long and where did you put your boxes again?" Mom said.

"Yes, mom, and I put my boxes in my bedroom." I said.

Duh, mom where else would I put all the boxes.

I slipped out the door.

I went to my friend's house, where Sally, Juliet, and Arisa were waiting. They were more sad then I thought. Since I didn't have that much time, I explained that I was leaving now. They gave me a friendship bracelets so I remembered them in Massachusetts. I thought they were pretty sweet to do that. Then, I went back home. I went straight to the car listening to my iPod. I thought I did a pretty good job of saying good bye for a person like me.

I am a very shy person, but if I have to say some thing I will. Normally, I don't. I simply love reading with listening to music. My mom thinks I can't do that at the same time since I'm not really the multi-tasking type of person. I'm also nerdy, but that doesn't mean I love school though normally people think if a person is nerdy they tend to like school. Based on my thinking, we'll arrive there in five days. Which means I have two days to get all the school supplies and sign up for school. As for how I look, I'm ok looking I'm not too fat or skinny. I have brown hair(medium length), green eyes, thin purple glasses though I tend to wear contacts. So I'm pretty plain looking that's why I don't stand out, I'm not totally invisible though. Anyways by the end of the day we were in Indiana. I went to check the pool at our hotel it was actually pretty big especially since there were no people in it. I love singing my parents say I have a good voice, but I'm always too shy to go on the stage and sing. Anyways, I went to take a shower afterwards. I started dreaming about my new school and if I'll make any friends. My dreams were somewhat weird since I'm a crazy person. My dreams showed a boy, he was pretty good looking I have to admit. It looks as if he is popular, but unaffected by girls who want to be with him. When I woke up, I thought there was no way that I would ever get that boy.

I took a quick shower to refresh me before I ate breakfast. I took waffles and Apple Juice then brushed me teeth. I went to the car.

"Ivy, honey, is something wrong?" Mom says.

"No, mom," I said.

"Are you sure?" Mom says.

"Yes, just nervous that's all," I said.

Ten hours later...

That was true I was very nervous if I couldn't make any friends. Or something worse happened. We were now in Ohio I guess we might arrive to Massachusetts earlier than expected.

Ten more hours later...

I guess I must have taken a nap. Yawn. We are now in Pennsylvania searching for a hotel. When we arrived, I took a shower and slept again this time I didn't have a dream.

Woke and did the same routine.

Finally we arrived in New York. I shopped there a little bit, got a cap and two shirts. Then we went and ate in Chinatown. Boy, the food was yummy. Then we went to the time square. We basically spent most of the day so we decided to get a hotel there, too. Shower, slept, woke up, ate, brushed my teeth, and went to the car.

Today I arrived in Massachusetts...

Hi, guys. This is kiwiK_pup. I know I'm referring myself as third person. I hope you enjoyed this chapter tomorrow Ivy will meet her neighbors, search for school supplies, and go to the back-to-school night. Right now it's not interesting, but as it goes on it will so hang in there with me. She will meet Ethan soon, but not yet. Ivy is the person in the picture.
