Bethany's Pov

It's been a week and a half since I last saw Kenneth.

Probably because I'm always studying.

Eh, I lied.

It's because everytime Julia invites me to parties, I always say no. I just don't feel like going on a party, you know. I'm more of a lazy slash tired person.

But for some reason, I really wanna see Kenneth so bad.

"Hey. We have a bonfire at the beach tonight. You should come." Julia said. I already know what the answer is.

"N-"

"Okay before you say no, think about it, Bethany. You should go out. You rarely go outside." Julia said.

"Yes, I do go outside!" I exclaimed, feeling proud.

"Where?" She sighed.

"Uh...School?" I said, more like asked but whatever.

"See? Only school. You haven't even been to the malls and parks here. Just come! Puh-leeeeeeeeaaaase." Julia pouted.

I sighed. "Okay okay fine. But I'm going back early, just so you know."

"Yay! Okay okay." She laughed.

"Is Kenneth gonna be there?" I asked. Please say no. Please say no.

"Yes."

.

.

.

After a few minutes of driving, we are already at the beach.

And for some reason, I wanna go back even though the bonfire hasn't started yet.

"Oh there they are!" Julia said and we head into the bonfire.

I spotted Kenneth first then KitKat, Alex, Kennadi, Carson, Gabe, Justin, and some few people that I don't know.

Justin.

I chose to sit next to him.

"Oh my god, finally, Bethany! My god, I thought you moved to different school or something." Alex said. I just fake smiled.

I can feel Kenneth's eyes on me.

"Well I just don't feel like going out." I said, nodding.

Then they started talking and I just sat there awkwardly.

"Oh and tomorrow, we're going swimming then we're having a party in here." Kennadi said. "Who's coming?"

Nope. I'm not coming.

They all agreed on coming then they all turned to me.

"What?" I asked.

"You're coming. Whether you like it, or not." Julia said, sternly.

"Okay okayyyyy but I'm not going to the party. Just swim." I whined.

.

.

.

"Does this look good?" Julia asked showing me her all pink bikini. It's weird because her skin is kinda pink.

"You look.. like a pig." I said.

"Oh no you did not."

"Oh yes I did."

"Fine. I'll take that as a no and I'll go find another one." She said.

While she's looking for her swim suits, I decided to wear my blue and black stripes bikini with a matching boy shorts.
