I drove us back to the clearing that the priest had shown me, once she saw it she gasped "It's so beautiful." "Not as beautiful as you mein liebeling." I said and I got down on one knee and she looked at me and asked "What are you doing?" Immediately I was terrified, what if she said no? What would I do then? I took a deep breath and said "(Y/N) (M/N) (L/N)... Ve haff been together for a vhile und." I said as I pulled out the case containing the ring and I showed her it and continued "Vould you make me ze happiest man alive und marry me?" She had her hands over her mouth as she said "Yes yes of course I'll marry you." And she ran over to me and I put the ring on her finger and we kissed. It seemed to last forever and we went to the priest and asked him if he would officiate it for us and he said he would. Then we began thinking of a day when she suggested "Halloween? It gives us time to prepare for everything." "Hmm zat is true. Halloween it is zen. Haff I told you how much I love Halloween?" "No but I imagine you love it a lot." I took her hands in mine and said "Ja. But not near as much as I love you." She hugged me and we continued on with the planning until we got a phone call... A rather irritated one at that too.
