Jazmine's POV:
I woke up Monday and rolled out of bed to the sound of my alarm clock, I hit the snooze button and suddenly jolted awake as I realized today was the first day of school. I ran over to my mirror to quickly see how much work needed to be done, my hair was atrocious, I could just do a small touch up of make up, but other than that I seemed fine.
I went into the bathroom, put my hair into a messy bun not caring if people called me out on it and applied a nice pink shade of lipstick and some dark blue eye shadow, I ran downstairs and found myself alone with a note taped to the fridge.
"Good morning honey! Sorry we can't be there this morning, your father had work early and I needed to take your brother to his doctors appointment! Hope you have a lovely first day!! Tell me ALL about it later!
Love, mom"
Oh well, I thought as I grabbed a piece of toast, I grabbed my bag and walked out the door when I heard a voice call out, "Morning J! Hope you're not going to school looking like that!" I knew who it was before I even looked. Eric Baxter the biggest asshole in school.
"Fuck off Eric." I said coldly as he walked up to me, "You really don't wanna piss me off before we even get to school." I hated him, I hated everything about him, what he looked like, the way he thought everything revolves around him, his cockiness and attitude, but I especially hate that his parents and my parents are best friends basically and they live right next to each other.
"Oh come on J, that's no way to talk to someone who was just trying to give you some friendly advice," he chuckles to himself, "I mean hey if you wanna dress like a prostitute that's up to you." I wasn't gonna waste the energy talking to him and thankfully my best friend Sierra pulled up just at that time, I rushed into her car and got in. I could tell I was most likely in for a very long day.
