In Love With My Nightmare

Chapter 3

Eric's POV:
I was over at Mary's house after school, I couldn't stand being at home, almost every night either my parents went to Jazmine's house or they came over to my house, nice people but Jesus Jazmine is a bitch. When we were younger I always tried to be her friend, tried to hang out with her, but no, from the time she was 11 she blew me off, from the time we were 5 until she turned 11 we were the best of friends.

"What are you thinking about?" Mary asked me, obviously concerned.
"Nothing really, just thinking about school and how much homework we're gonna have."
"Oh fuck I am not looking forward to all the work." She rolled her eyes and pulled out a cigarette, she lit it and took a hit, she smoked it in 2 minutes flat.

I couldn't stand smoking but ever since the thing with Jazmine, Mary, Nathan and Jack had been my closest friends. And don't get me wrong, they all had their own problems, Nathan and Jack were the big time drinkers, they'd drink a case in a few days if you let them, I'm surprised they haven't been kicked out of football yet.

"You want one?" That brings me to Mary, she's a smoker, like not the average one cigarette a day person, she's more the 3 packs a week person. While I've had a beer here and there and a cigarette I have never really been a fan of either.
"Nah I'm fine." I told her and my mind went  back to thoughts of Jazmine, and as much as I hated to admit it I realized deep down I must have feelings for her...

So Eric's Intro is done with a little twist, Eric isn't the only "asshole" so this is where I imagined people siding with the different characters, are you gonna sympathize with Eric or Jazmine?? Hope y'all enjoyed! Peace out ✌🏻️
