Ok... she went to mass. And they were in the Homily part. But she forgot to put her phone in silent mode.
Suddenly her phone rang...
"She wants to dance like Uma Thurman,
Bury me 'till I confess......"
The priest looked at her. Stared at her. I dunno what else he did. But then he shouted
"OMG!!!!!!!!! Are you a fan?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!??!??"
My friend, who was downright VERY surprised said...
"YES!!!"
"Who's your bae there?"
"PATRICK STUMP!!!!!"
"Ah.... me too!!!!!!"
Then, my friend realized that the priest was gay.
Then, the priest became a bit awkward.
"Ah, well. Back to God. This is gospel...."
She checked her bucket list.

And told me.
