Chapter 2- LAFS

I know it's wrong, but I can't get that boy out of my head. Louis, was it?

Yeah, it's pretty bad I don't exactly remember his name, but something about him makes me warm inside.

Maybe it's his blue orbs. Or his feathery hair. Or his bum. Or maybe the way his name rolls off my tongue. Either way, that boy is worth getting to know. Even if he is a delinquent.

But I couldn't fall for him. My dad would be pissed. But, I'm not falling for him, so I have honestly nothing to worry about. I don't know anything about Louis. Just what he looks like and what trouble he's in for. I shook my head. He's definitely not worth falling for.

I shut my Math book. There was no way in hell I was going to be able to study. Not with Louis on my mind. I decided to meet up with my friend, Darin.

"Hey, Dad?" I called, rolling out of bed. I ran a hand through my hair.

"Yes?" I heard him faintly call back. He must be upstairs.

"Is it okay if I go out with Darin? Like, Oh-Yo's or something?" I yelled up. I threw a sweatshirt over my body and got out my phone, ready to call Darin if my dad says yes.

"Sweetie, you're not a child anymore. I don't care."

I smiled. My dad was the best. My mother and I weren't very close, so my dad had to step up. He raised me by myself for years, and he did it so well. He makes decisions that are the best for me. He puts me first, and I love him for that.

I dialed Darin's number and put the phone up to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Darin!"

"Hey, Kaysie! What's up?"

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today. Maybe go to Oh-Yo or something?"

He paused for a minute. "Sure."

I smiled. "Okay! I'll be over soon!"

"Alright! I'll be here. Bye."

"Bye." I hung up.

I slipped on some Toms, grabbed my car keys, and left.

"So, there's this boy-" I started, but Darin silenced me by putting my Oh-Yo spoon in my mouth.

"No, no, no. I don't want to hear about your boy crushes." Darin laughed, "save that for your girl friends,"

I rolled my eyes at him. "No, he's not my crush. He's a..delinquent, I guess you could call him. He was caught dealing drugs and was sent to my dads station,"

Darin nodded. "Continue."

I smiled and continued my story.

"Well, he never did the drugs. The test proved that. But the sad thing is, he needed money for his sick sister! Isn't that horrible? To have to stoop that low..I feel bad for him."

"Me, too. I wonder why he just doesn't get a job!" Darin sighed.

"He tried," I explained, "just couldn't hold a job!"

"What's his name?" Darin questioned.

"Louis." I smiled. Darin gave me a look.

"Don't fall for this boy. Your dad would be pissed.

Laughing, I said, "I'm not falling for him!"

But now..Im not so sure.
