Maybe, Party?

Today is the day of Juvia and Gray's engagement and I am too excited! We stand at their door and knock. We can already hear everyone talking and laughing in there. The door opens and we're greeted by the friendly face of Juvia. I immediately pull her into a hug. "I am so happy for you!! When are y'all having babies!?" I pull back and see the blush on her face.

"Juvia is already pregnant. " she says, not meeting my eyes. I let out a scream of excitement and pull her back in a hug. I hear Natsu shuffle behind me, getting impatient.

"When are we going inside? I have to babies in my arms!" I giggle at him and take Nashi, she pulls at my hair and smiles at me. I give her a loving smile back and walk in the house. I hear Mira make a scream and I look up to see her running towards us.

"Can I hold the baby!? She is so cute!" I hand her over to Mira and she eagerly takes her. She places her on her hip and Nashi smiles at her while pulling her hair. I walk towards the food and fill my plate with finger foods. While watching Natsu mingle with his friends and passing little Natsu around, Juvia walks up to me.

"Hey Lucy, I just want to know.." she hesitates, then continues, "how was giving birth? I mean, I know it hurts, but with the epidural did it hurt?" she seems nervous.

I smile gently at her. "I'm going to tell you the truth, every labor is different. My epidural wore off during the minor contractions. So, I still felt everything. Honestly, it wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It's really a beautiful experience. The worst part though is the healing process. If you tear, you'll want to avoid the bathroom as long as possible. " She looks absolutely horrified and I laugh. "trust me, you'll get through it." it doesn't look like that helped her that much.

"Juvia is scared to give birth. Juvia doesn't like pain." she says.

"Look at the new ring that Natsu bought me." I change the subject. I don't want her drowning me in her tears. She looks at it and gasps.

"Julia thinks its beautiful! Oh, look at mine!" she holds out her hand. Her ring has seashells on the sides with a round diamond in the center. She takes her ring off and shows me a mermaid that is engraved inside and the words 'part of your world' engraved next to the mermaid. "he know I loved The Little Mermaid as a child. He is so romantic!" Juvia exclaims with a blush on her cheeks.

I can't help, but feel a little jealous of their romance. I wish we would have been able to do all of that stuff, but I know if it wouldn't have been forced, I would have never been with Natsu. I really am thankful for him and that he is the one I'm going to spend the rest of my life with.

"Lucy, do you think that we can watch Natsu and Nashi tonight? We would like to have some practice before the baby gets here. And I'm sure that the both of you would like a break." Juvia asks.

"Oh sure! They both eat 7 ounces of formula and they eat baby food after an hour of each feeding, okay?" I smile at her.

After the party was over, we left Juvia and Gray with the twins diaper bags and pack N play. We said our goodbyes to our babies and went back home.

Relaxing on the couch with Natsu felt so amazing. I love spending alone time with Natsu. It's so hard to find time for each other now. "Luce," Natsu brings me out of thoughts. I look over and I see him pouting. "Can you go to the store and buy me some milk, chocolate syrup, ice cream, and some cookies?" Oh sweet Jesus, how can anyone say no to that adorable face?

"Are you pregnant Natsu?" Smiling at him, I pinch his cheeks and he pouts even more. "Oh alright, I guess I'll go, but I get the first glass of chocolate milk!" I laugh at my own pettiness.

As I make my way through the aisles, I bump into Levy. My eyes widen as I see what she's holding. "Is it baby season or something!?" I shout, but Levy clamps her hand over my mouth and shush's me.

"Gajeel doesn't know, so shh. I'm not even sure yet, but this will tell me. So, he doesn't need to know yet." Levy looks down with a blush on her cheeks. I hug her and let her know that I support her.

When I get back home, I drop the groceries out of shock. There is a thick trail of rose petals that travel up the stairs. The trail leads me to my room and I open it, revealing at least twenty candles that have been lit. The scent of the candles fill my senses with the sweet smell of strawberry and vanilla. I look toward the bed and see rose petals all over it with Natsu lying down with his arms behind his head. I smile and run towards him, all jealousy from earlier seeming stupid. I have all the romance with I need with him. Jumping on the bed, I wrap my arms around Natsu and kiss him like I've never kissed him before. Our kiss is filled with so much passion and love for each other.

I break the kiss and whisper, "I love you." He smiles

"Of course you do. Who wouldn't love me?" Giggling, I smack his arm playfully, then I start kissing him again.

After we're done making love, we lie there, our legs tangled together. "So, do you want some of the chocolate milk you made me go get?" Gasping, I stand up quickly. "I forgot to put the groceries up!" I run down the stairs and put the groceries up. Thank goodness the milk and ice cream are still cold. I pour two glasses of chocolate milk and make two bowls of ice cream. Putting those on a tray, I grab two napkins and place four cookies on each. I put those on the tray as well and walk upstairs with the tray in hand.

"Dessert is served." I say while walking through the door. Natsu sits up, all excited for his food. "Let's watch some Netflix while we eat!" I place the tray on the bed, grabbing the drinks and placing them in our nightstand. We turn on Netflix and scroll the movies, trying to find something to watch.

"Ooh let's watch The Walking Dead! Gray told me it was really good!" Something clicked in my head once Natsu said the name Gray. Juvia and Gray have the twins, the rose petals, when did he find time to get those?

"You planned this night, didn't you?" Natsu looks at me and nods, shoving a spoonful of ice cream in his mouth. I lean over and kiss him and whisper a soft thank you. I play the walking dead for him as we continue to eat our ice cream.

A/N: I want everyone to know that the first chapter to the sequel of The Rules and Regulations of Love is up!! It's called The Trials and Tribulations of Breaking Up!! I will not update it though until I'm done with Maybe, Baby!! :)
