Chapter 3

-Christian's POV-

"Hey!" I called her out.

"Yes?" She replied. 

I stared at her, losing the words that i had been practicing in my head for the past 10 minutes. F*ck. What is wrong with me? I do not behave like this with other women! But this one. Just this one. Ugh. So f*cking frustrating.

"Do you want to have dinner?"

"What?"

"As in, come to dinner with me because i-"

"Because?"

"I, i dont feel like eating alone."

"Oh."

"Why me?"

"Because."

"Because?"

"Just come with me. I will pay for your food."

- Alexi's POV-

Did he really just ask me out? Is this some kind of date? Sounds real tempting, i can't even afford dinner tonight. But would this be selling myself out? I hope not. 

*Stomach grumbles*

SHIT.

"See! You're hungry. I'm hungry. I've got money. Let's eat!"

Sighing, i packed my stuff and went with him.

Slowly we walked and made a turn into the front of this gigantic skyscraper. I stood rooted to the ground as i take in the whole building. 

"Do you like it?"

"Yea, it's beautiful."

"C'mon let's go in!"

"Wait! Wha-"

He grabbed my hand and pulled me into the building. Being and feeling lost, i just let him drag me into a lift. He tapped his card in and pressed 88. 

"Why are we going up? Isn't this an office building? Is there a restaurant at level 88? You work here?"

"Woah! Chill with the questions! We are going up because i want to. Yes this is an office building. No there isn't a restaurant at 88 and yes i work here."

"Wait, if there is no restaurant, then why are we going up?"

"To eat silly!"

"In an office?"

"Yes. My Off-"

Ding. The doors opened to the top floor and we walked towards the double doors. He pushed through and the next thing i saw was never going to leave my mind.

-Christian's POV-

As i opened the double doors, she ran straight to the full length windows and stare at the skyline of Manhattan. Her eyes were bright and shining. She smiled like there was no tomorrow. Dang, i knew it was the right thing to do to have brought her here. 

Soon, Sebastian, my butler, came in to set up the table while Alexi is still being mesmerised by the view.

"Lexi. Come here."

She turned around and saw the set up.

"Wow. This must be expensive. Are you sure we are allowed to be in your boss' office?"

I chuckled and choked slightly on my wine that had just been poured out for me.

"Well, seeing as i own this building and company, yea, i am pretty sure my "boss" would allow me!"

"WHAT?! You're the CEO of Cruzela Inc.?"

"Why yes i am"

She laughed at me, then covered her mouth, and turned her head away in embarrassment. How cute. Wait, i did not just say that. Cute? OHMYLORD what is happening. Shit. Am i falling in love?
