Sandra's P.O.V.
Rolling up my pant leg, Diane started bandaging the huge scratch marks on my calf. We won the battle. Dean was scratched on his chest so his torso was bandaged. We made eye contact and he walked over just as Diane left. "You handled yourself really well." He commented, I gave him a little smile. "Thanks, guess history really does repeat itself." We both chuckled a little despite the somber mood of the house.
Before anyone else could speak, the front door opened and Ryan stood in the doorway. Everyone stared at him. Dean stiffened a little, still didn't understand why Dean hated him so much.
"Hey Ryan," I greeted, his smiled at me. "Sorry to interrupt," He said, looking around at all the completely grim faced werewolves around him. I smiled a little, "So what happened to you two?" He asked, "We were attacked, but we won." I answered, he smiled. "Good job, sorry for being gone for so long. I had to deal with family business." He rubbed his neck tiredly. "This place seems pretty packed," he commented. I nodded, "Thought I'd drop by but's it's obvious I can't stay and take up more space." Ryan added with a small chuckle.
"Yeah, you can't stay." Dean stated harshly, I elbowed him in the ribs, right next to his scratch marks. He sucked in a pained breath, and I smiled. "Let us know if you change your mind and we can arrange something." I responded, the edge in my tone directed at Dean. I felt his frustration at my response. Suddenly Ryan's phone went off, and he pulled it out of his pocket, "Mom wants me at the shop. You two should stop by sometime, by the way, where are my car keys?" He asked. "Over here," Drew stated, tossing them. Ryan caught them with evident ease.
"I'll see you two later," He walked off, and Dean gave me a look before dragging me off to somewhere no one could hear us.
"Look Sandra, I don't trust him." Dean stated in a hushed whisper, "And why not?" I asked, equally as quiet. "When I went to the forest it was because I was following him. Somehow he must've known, because he lured me into the forest and when I tried to find him he somehow managed to lose me and vanish, and I had to hide and that's when I was nearly attacked. I think he was trying to kill me," I rolled my eyes, "Or maybe it's because he didn't want a creep to follow him somewhere, besides we know where Trent is now so is it really a bad thing?" I asked, "Sandra, he warned us about Trent getting more wolves, how would he know that if he wasn't working for the damn fool?" Dean demanded, I rolled my eyes. "Ryan isn't working for Trent Dean, you're overreacting. I'm sure he knows some other werewolves besides us."
But even though I insisted Ryan wasn't working for Trent, Dean had planted a seed of suspicion in me.
