Monika's P.O.V:
We were already at the skiing place called Mountain Hook (made that up) and gee those mountains were high! They always say the higher the mountain the prettier it is. And its true.
Me and Billy were partners to skii together so we stayed in touch. I was already in the skii lodge un loading and putting my skii boots on and putting away my snow shoes in my black bag. I put on my skii mask, made my hair into two braids and put on my white cask. I looked actually cool. I had neon glasses, and laser light colors on my coat. But my pants were black...boo. My skiis were rented, so they looked ugly. But thats ok. I look good!
" Ok, im ready" I told Billy while putting on my gloves.
"Yup, mee too. Wait do we leave right away?"
"Yeah, they teacher dosnt skii, so she stays in the lodge if someone got lost. Oh yeah by the way I have my cellphone with me if you need anyhthing, you know if we split up and get lost..."
"Oh we wont split up"
Oh no. Im blushing. ugh.
We were already outside next to alllllll the skiis and snow boards. This was a popular place to go skiing this season, so there was a LOT of people.
"Ok well, because there is a lot of people i figure we shouldnt split up" Billy tells me as if he is my father pshhh.
"Ok, dad" I tell him. While i put my cool , skiing shades on.
"Too shay"
Now we were already on the line. Ugh. I hate waiting on lines when you go skiing. You legs start to cramp up, and you have to bend them. Now you may think whats so bad about bending your legs.....your but sticks out. But anyway, we are on the GREEN section because the only way to get up to Black Diamond Section, is by going on these first, again, ugh.
"Its your turn to go on the lift." The man with a nice mustache told me while scanning my tcket on my coat.
Me and Billy made a noise like: Finnaly we can go.
While sitting on the lift....that was sooooooooooooooooooo slow, the lift stopped. Probably a kid fell or someones skii fell off. But that was too long. all these years i went threw these stops but this is not a stop .....
"I wonder what happend" I say turning my head backwards. I can see the view perfectly. And we were so high up.
"I dont know, its been already 30 minutes Monika, maybe we should call someone?"
"Wait."
"what?"
"A kid didnt fall, or tripped, or-"
"What?!!??"
"Billy, the lift broke down."
