There was still 2 weeks until Summer and I just wanted it to go faster. With the bullying it felt like the days were going slower and slower especially on Friday. It all started during lunch. I sadly didn't have the same lunch period as Kendall but I did have the same as Stephanie and the others. The entire year they had just ignored me until these past 4 months. Anyway during lunch I had just finished with my meal and began to walk to throw it away.
"Hey Dakota!" I heard my name being yelled from behind me. I turned around and smack a football hit me in the eye. I fell to the floor and dropped my tray. I heard laughing as I held my eye. I wasn't going to cry until I saw Grayson picking up the football. I was torn apart, he stared at me with his caring eyes. He looked down at me sadly but he turned around and handed the football to Brad. He then stood next to Ethan and began to walk away.
I always had known that the boys were apart of that group but they never would hurt me so I walked straight up to Brad.
"Why would you do that !?!"
"Haha that's gonna leave a black eye." He answered while smiling.
The rest of the crew just laughed and laughed and laughed. I couldn't take it anymore I slapped Brad and walked away. The entire group was in aw. They stayed quite until I left the cafeteria. I felt proud of myself but then I realized that Brad was right it is going to be a black eye.
I immediately went to the girls bathroom where I looked in the mirror. How am I going to film vines. I thought. I then called Victoria.
"Hey, it's me can you come and pick me up from school I only have two more periods and one of them is study hall. I'm also passing the other class with flying colors so can you ?"
"Yeah I'll be there in a few minutes."
A few minutes passed and I got a text.
From :Victoria
"I'm here."
I walked out the bathroom and outside to see her car out front. Just as I was about to enter the front seat I saw David, her boyfriend. (You see what I did there ) I then entered the back seat to David looking back at me.
"Hey Dakota that's some eye!"
"What happened," Victoria asked concerned.
"I got hit with a football."
"Ah that sucks," David said.
"Any way I want to go home to see if I can cover it before mom gets home."
And with that they turned around and drove home. When we got there I jumped out of the car and went straight to my room. I went to my makeup box that I used when I was Rose. I instantly put it around my eye it covered it like a charm.
The rest of the day went on like normal I filmed a vine, I took a nap, I ate dinner, I did my homework and I went to bed. In my head I was thinking I really hope next week goes by quickly. And it did. The week went by so fast. On the last day of school was our school's annual hula day and everybody dressed up, even me. I was happy for leaving to Digifest I just had to celebrate with Kendall. I can't wait till next week. I felt summer didn't start until I was in California and I Summer come faster.
